Okay, this is worth a shot:

Hello! Hi. I am EthZee, I have been editing in Fraxy for about two weeks now. I have been using 20090204b up until yesterday, when I switched to the latest version (fraxy_20100822beta). Now, I realise this may be just a beta problem, but:

Why is it in the editor, parts refuse to line up properly when they're placed at equal distances? Here is a picture to illustrate:

Big picture, has been linked instead-

Both Plate_09s are slaved to the core, and both are at a distance of 25 units. Why, then, must everything be shifted slightly to the left?

This appears to be only a problem with this latest version of Fraxy. I have not yet tried any previous versions, and I have tried importing bosses from the earlier version, with the same results. This is noticeable in game, and this also happens to the stock bosses.

Is there some simple solution to this that is staring me in the face? Or is this "just one of those things" that I will have to live with? As I've spent plenty of time trying to find another post with the same problem.

(strangely enough, I remember trying fraxy a couple of years ago, and having the same problem)

The old version of Fraxy seems to be fine. Can this be fixed? I do have a lot of existing ships I don't wish to have to spend hours converting to fix the offsets, and I don't really want to miss out on the spangly new stuff in the latest versions.

Thank you for reading!
