One of the Village houses in the dark world has a super bomb now. Take it and go to Lupo Quarry (carefull down the stairs = difficult, must be exact, otherwise the bomb explodes). Then place it in front of that crack wall.

You can't. 2nd quest is shorter. Get the 3 hidden chests at Farore's Secret cave. Then get the 2 blue potions, 2nd shield in Draegor's castle, remaining heartpieces. Then go to Ganon directly. After the end screen restart and you will be a bunny in the dark world. Get the 3 additional heartpieces and Save & Quite to come back to the light world.

EDIT
Just finished V1-1 (final version) with these updates:
1. In comparisment to 1-0 the Texts have been updated, since the 1-0 had the old texts from PW 1-0. The PR 1-1 takes the PW 1-1 texts and updates them further to fit the remodel. Specially the clues were changed to fit the new Tower.

2. In the village you could land on one of the NPC-s, which prevented further playing. The issue was fixed, but the hill-jumps from that cliff are still quite odd (can't be fixed).

3. Second quest (changed the content of the chest after Ganon).

4. Second quest (changed the first room of Impa's ways to prevent defeat (and the bug that comes with it).

5. Second quest (changed the first room of Sheik's hideout to prevent defeat (and the bug that comes with it).

Go to initial post for shortcuts.

You are missing Sheik's hideout, left of the castle site, there's a cave, that leads there. But you must have used a cheat, because you can't enter Saria's gardens without finishing Sheik's hideout, that has the golden bracelet.

Silver arrows are in the Parallel Tower in the second room from the beginning.

The Bow is in Farore's secret cave. There are 3 normal chests there, plus 3 hidden ones. Just go through the left wall and pick up the blue bumps as you would open a chest. Find the hidden chests. This is in the second quest.

You also need around 60 arrows, so grab some rupees in the forest where you dash-jump into the stomp across pits. There are 50 rupees in the jars on each visit. Then go to the Pyramid side. Throw some rupees into the pond to get more arrows.

3rd bottle - in the dark world church

4th bottle - light world, hookshot up nearh the Smiths house, then hookshot right to the cave

Bombos medallion is in the Parallel Tower.

Nothing. This place is always empty. Euclid never was able to fix this. That place is where a bottle was standing in Alttp that opened 4 bottles to the right. This problem is not possible to change on current locked rom, plus... all items are already used, so nothing can fit in there.

Thank you for your comment. Regarding the gameplay. In the light world you can't really get stuck since the icons actually flash on the map. In the dark world this can get bugged, so we removed the icons. Maybe I didnt relize (since I know the game inside out) that someone wouldn't find a dungeon. However, if you explore all entrances in a certain area, you will surely find it.

On 6F, which has the green palette walls, there are 2 chests, one with heart container the other one with bombos. Really can't miss them if you progress normally through the Tower. Or maybe you missed the Quake, since you need to throw powder into the pond in the dark world ruins area to get it.

You can't. Sprites are limited to a certain number. Find a room with many sprites are erase them, now you can add them in Hyrule castle.

Finish the game with all Stone tablets and the message at the end will tell you to enter TotT. Go to second slot and start a new game. Don't write your name, but TotT (exactly like that).

You can get two heart pieces now that you have the big goron's bracelet to lift the dark stones (Cemetery and at Victory beach), at the smiths house hookshot up and right to get to the cave with the forth bottle, at the Ancient Pyramid get the level 4 sword. At the Waterfall cave get the one heart piece (overworld areas can not have two heart pieces in one area). Finally fly to number one with the bird to get the final heart piece and drop down the hole to fight with Ganon.

You dont have to climb the Tower in the light world. Note: in PW there are not two towers. It is just one Tower that uses the "double" first room and some more rooms are accessible in 7F. So in PR the Tower is blocked in the light world.

You can have 20 Heart containers and 1 additional heart piece = 20 1/4 Hearts. So if you are at 19 0/4, you are missing 5 heart pieces. It is impossible to tell which you missed, since there are over 50 heart pieces.

Also, collect all 7 stone tablets and finish the game to unlock the second quest.

Since many players have problems with patching, here is a CRC32 ID for the original Alttp rom to patch to and the CRC for the correctly patched file.

CRC32 of the Original US Alttp rom to patch to
777AAC2F

CRC32 of the Correctly patched rom
588F0E4A

To calculate the CRC I recommend freeware CheckCRC, a CRC calculator by Andrew Koupparis. It allows a fast right click option to calculate the CRC of any file.

Title screen fix fixes the title, but it destroies the ending sequence. However, the new title screen fix was released by Red Scorpion, but it came sort of to late to be in the release. The title screen problem is actually more of an emulator thing, since snes9x can't render it correctly, but the title is not broken in Zsnes. Since I had the entire game tested, I didn't want to include some new code that could make the game crash elsewhere.

I've just analized the file from your shortcut. It has the OLD fix, which breakes the ending. It is actually an IPS file with only 1KB, so it must be patched to the already patched Parallel Worlds game, which is no good for you (patch can be applied Only to Parallel Worlds 1-1, Not 1-0 and Not Parallel Remodel).

Here's the new code, written by ikari_01, a friend of Red Scorpion. The code was written after the release of the english Parallel Remodel 1-1.

Open the file Parallel Remodel (patched correctly) in a hex editor. The file doesn't have a header. Then go to hex address 9C6 and change the old FF values into:

A6 13 DA A2 80 8E 00 21 86 13 20 A1 92 FA 86 13 60.

At BE3 change A1 92 into -> C6 89. (implements the new routine, otherwise the game crashes). PS The code was only released in hex format.

The CRC of the Parallel Remodel 1-1 with the new code is C9D9397C.
(intro and ending tested)

The old fix, that is hosted by the site you linked is
48 A9 80 85 13 8D 00 21 68 20 A1 92 A9 0F 85 13 60.

So if your fix starts with 48 A9 at 9C6, you have the Wrong one; the new one starts with A6 13.

The new fix was also implemented into both PW and PR, translated into german, but only the most recent versions (1.10 and 1.50 ger).

Like I said before, I didn't implement this, since I got the code just a little to late and the game has quite some other minor problems, so fixing the title screen would be a little to less fixes for the entire new version 1-2.

I can, however, make a "bonus" ips file to be patched to the original Alttp, which has the Parallel Remodel data with the included code already in (if you are unable to implement it in hex).

It works with Parallel Worlds 1-0 and 1-1 aswell, if you open it in a hex editor and change the values. But this is still far from 100 percent, since the Links gfx is wrong (he has silver face when obtaining Goron's bracelet etc). This really can't be fixed with the current file. And there are various other minor things. At least we got the title working.

PS I'm vondering since you make carts... is it possible to use an external srm save on a certain game. For instance Zelda Stone Tablets has 4 files. In order to play Part2, you need to rename the srm of the solved Part1, which is easy to do in a computer. You just rename the srm file. Is it possible to do this on a cart... For instance you have 2 different Zelda carts, and you "tell" the machine to read the same srm saves for both carts. (Like read the srm obtained from Parallel Worlds on Parallel Remodel cart).

This bug is a common thing in Zelda Hacking. Basically, when you edit the monologues, that are at E0000 to E8000, some bytes might get shifted, braking the two bytes at E8000, that control the camera shake. As described bellow open the file in hex editor, go to E8000 (no header) or E8200 (with header) and chenge the bytes to 01 FF (normal shake).

Camera shake when Armos pounds or Ganon pounds or walls move (found by MathOnNapkins)

fixed location on address E8000 (no header)
bytes 00 and 01 must have the value 01 FF (normal shake)
false shake 7F 80 (done by Hyrule Magic)

fixed location on address E8200 (with header)
bytes 00 and 01 must have the value 01 FF (normal shake)
false shake 7F 80 (done by Hyrule Magic)

Note: Any further editing of the monologue can brake these bytes again.

BG2 on top is a complex thing. Every room must be defined separately and it is not compatible with bg2 = normal. Sometimes it will cover the whole screen, sometimes it doesn't. If I put the room 112 with the on top effect it doesn't cover the whole screen.

The BG2 on top will disapear when switching screens, because the next room is not on top, so the game must do the switch. This is the passing problem. If two incompatible (on top and not on top) rooms are together, then the bars must be set away from the view point of the passage. Or... both rooms are set to on top, but one of them asctually doesn't have the bars anywhere. Nintendo used another strategy: only one room has bars and the only thing leading in and out of this room are the stairs, that allow pallete, blk and other changes.
