Hello, I'm the newest guy here. My name is Metarex Master, and some of my interests include Sonic, (especially Sonic X, the show, Season 3 mostly), Fraxy, Phantasy Star, Halo, Mass Effect, Danmaku games, and some other stuff. I think I might enjoy this place. |

Hello, being new here and having some skill with Fraxy, I was going to show off some Fraxy bosses I made myself. I'll show images of the ones I finished, the others I will give the download links once they are perfected. I also have Youtube videos up for all of them under my channel, Hexidextrous, on Youtube.
Nose Lavagghin (Battle Garegga) My first Danmaku style boss, I think I got this one down right. Like the original Nose Lavagghin, you have to destroy the tail first to hit the body, and you can also hit the turrets on each wing to make it easier. It also fires similar. Best played on area fixed mode with 640*480 screen size 
Here's the link to it - http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=3361 Madball (Battle Garegga) My personal favorite boss in Battle Garegga, mainly because it is the most futuristic, though none of the other ships or bosses (with the exception of the Satanic Surfer) look futuristic, even though they are supposed to. They look more WWII era than sci-fi era. I put off a lot on this boss, but I like how it turned out after it was finished. It isn't very hard, but still a cool boss. I like how the outer ring expands and retracts to shoot at you, and the aimed electric beams are also cool too.

I also made a tribute boss to Firefox11, and this one is modeled after his Pyro Core boss. It is based off of TF2, but a totally different class, the Heavy. It uses his weapons, such as the minigun, shotgun, fist, and even heals itself at times with a Sandvich. I had tried to also add his "POW Haha" taunt kill move, but it just wouldn't work out. It moves really well, even with boosters, and is slower than the Pyro Core, but has higher health (just like in the game). Oh, and by the way, the music is a cool track based on the heavy called "Coward Killing Time," and I thought Firefox would like the band that made the song, for the band is called VULPVibe Records. Video for it --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TztHUpEdlVs E-90 This one was an Eggman Robot from Sonic X that I made in fraxy. I had some inspiration for its design from Omoresu's Aeson (first form), and Ebbo's Cancer900k ships. In the show, it was this massive robot ship that Eggman used to swallow satellites that were looking for him to later be recycled into resources for his robots. Tails and Sonic took it on in the X-Tornado. I managed to get this one down pretty good, it has a lot of turrets and its vacuum things works right (it extends out, sparks with electricity for a moment, then tries to pull you in with a Grav Field on the end, then retracts back in). To beat it, you have to first take out the Cargo bay, and then the eyes become tangible and you have to destroy both of those. It's also my first with a unique player ship, whose template I have already previously uploaded. The video also uses some clips from the show itself to give a better understanding of it (I got this video effect idea off of some of A70M1C's ][nfector videos having clips from TV shows in them to make them better). Horda Gestorada (Raiden IV TLB) I made this for Shoot the Core. It is the true last boss of Gradius IV, and one of my hardest bosses. It fits well into Shoot the Core, and it has a lot to offer. Took a ton of parts to make, and I like how the center Crystal looks on it.

I have a few Fraxy bosses that I would like to request.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvN6lGPd9VQ Reaper Sovereign from Mass Effect. Sovereign as you see is a massive squid-shaped ship. It can fire a searing beam from the area right above its eyes and other beams from its tentacles. My version would also shoot homing lasers from his sides. For my Fraxy version, it would be an overhed view and I was going to have it's eyes be the cores and you have to punch away at its front plates to get to them. 
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCR_gGwX2J0 Scarship the living warship from Sonic X Scarship was this huge warship. He could fire beams and missiles from multiple cannons, but all of them were not invulnerable. He had turbines shaped like spiked rods and two large wings. I was going to make mine be an overhead view, and a lot of the weapons like in the show. These two blue things on it's chin right below the eyes were going to be the weak points, and it would fight as much like it as possible. Watch the youtube video to see how it fights. |

I think Vocaloid is cool. I don't have the software, but I watch the music videos on Youtube and have some of the songs that I got off itunes and it is pretty cool. It has such great Japanese tunes to it. |

Here's my desktop. I would've used a metarex-themed background, but I can't find one, so I stuck with this Cosmo-themed background, who is also one of my favorite characters from Sonic.

Okay, you know the Board2 uploader where most of us upload their fraxy creations and hacks and stuff? Well I have been experiencing problems with it.
There are some files I'd like to remove off there. However, I try clicking on the X button to delete it, but when I do, the file does not delete and I get an error message from the uploader that reads "FILE DELETION IS TEMPORARILY DISABLED." What the heck is going on, can someone please fix this? |
