It would be cool if i am able to to convert all zelda musics from both nes and gameboy to super nintendo spc music format for using instruments from zelda 3 instead of using sampled square waves as instruments.

usefull in romhacking. hearing onox song with zelda 3 boss instruments instead of using ripped waveforms as instruments. The dream can be true, nothing is impossible.

What's Stone Tablets?

Taken from:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BS_Zelda

BS Zelda no Densetsu: Inishie no Sekiban (BSゼルダの伝説 古代の石盤?, lit. BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets) is an action-adventure video game first broadcast to Satellaview owners, in March–April 1997 and rebroadcast as reruns at least 3 times. It is the third game in the BS Zelda series and as with the two previously-broadcast BS Zelda spin-off games, BS Zelda no Densetsu and BS Zelda no Densetsu: MAP2, it also does not feature Link as the protagonist but instead utilizes the player's avatar from the inter-related Satellaview game, BS-X. For this reason it is also generally considered to be a spin-off title from the main Zelda series. Stylistically similar to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES, BS Zelda no Densetsu: Inishie no Sekiban is also occasionally regarded as an enhanced remake of this title. This misconception most likely arises from the fact that the game is no longer playable in its original form and thus the differing plot of the game is more or less unknown to the general gaming public.

The game's title derives the "BS" portion of its name from the Broadcast Satellite system through which game was transmitted by the distributor, St.GIGA, to Satellaview owners between the date of first broadcast in March 1997 and the last broadcast in May 1999. As a Satellaview SoundLink Game, broadcasts for BS Zelda no Densetsu were composed of both a discretely quantifiable portion of game code and, as with the earlier BS Zelda games, a continually streaming vocal track employing the voices of seiyu voice actors. This would be the last SoundLink game to be broadcast via Satellaview marking the end of a 4-year period of SoundLink broadcasts, and it would one of the very last Satellaview games to be broadcasts under Nintendo's direct control.

Yeah, so? That's not a very nice thing to say there.
In comparison to Bruce campbell vs Ganon. Because it has holes everywhere that get you 100% stuck.

I have some s3m files i want to convert to psx music format files. For then making new psf with new instruments.
With the software i used. The loop points is gone or the loop points is wrong causing pops/clicks.
Converting s3m to midi with modplugtracker results all notes is off beat grid not accurate and wrong instruments.

I want better tools for converting modplugtracker instruments wav, xi, dls, sf2 to vab, vag, vb vh.
And tools for converting modplugtracker music, s3m, xm, it to mid/smf or seq.
And then using vgmtoolbox for creating new psf music with psx reverb.

I have wasted 5 days with google trying to solve this problem without success!
5 days is now gone because i don't know exactly what to do.
It's much that do it yourself. It's not complete to begin with. The problems come when nothing works for me. It's the Official Sony PS2 SDK that has a sce folder that takes 697mb.

1st_read
bin
common
conf

(iop\sample\sound)

license
rpm
tools
gcc32_readme.txt
index.pdx
readme-3.0.0.txt
readme-3.0.1.txt
readme-3.0.2.txt
readme.txt
readme-ntgui2.txt
t10000-rel300.bin
term.txt
I tried ps2dev, gshi, MinGW, msys and chstandard. Cygwin and red hat linux 6.2 does not help with this! I can't get SMF2SQ + JAM tools from SCE!

I will upload PS2SDK.rar if i am allowed to do it.
The rules says nothing about PS2SDK tools.

Does this apply to Vagrant Story music too?
It's all AKAOSEQ.

VGMTrans could be modified to insert new music into old psx and ps2 games.

I have read on internet that nsf files contains a pitch table. The nsf players out there can't playback nsf music in another scale. And if i change the pitch table in a nsf. I call it converting nsf to nsf by only replacing the pitch table. I choose what channels to replace pitch table with.
Example: i would not change the pitch table on NOISE and DPCM channel. Because those channels are the drums.
And drums should not have a new pitch table.

Let's say i take a (2A03/2A07) nsf file. I play song 001. Then i open up the pitch table window and change the sound register tuning system.
The features:
1. Change the frequency of each note.
2. Repeat 12 note frequencies across all octaves at once or repeat only 2 octaves or more or no octave repeating.
3. A keytracking knob that crossfades the frequency from all notes available to the center octave pitch. The space/interval between notes is editable.
4. Rotating the picth table. Horizontal and vertical pitch table flipping.
5. Random note frequency deviation.

This is not possible with famitracker.

Edit:
A nsf player can emulate any nes game regardless how different the nsf driver is. The nsf player pitch/frequency stream can be edited in real time by a pitch table module. Then record and save the new song that uses another scale. When recording a nsf. The frequencies of all notes is modified by the pitch table module. The new nsf song does not use the original nsf driver. It uses a new nsf driver. It's like importing nsf files in famitracker then connect only (Square 1) (Square 2) (Triangle) to pitch table. Then editing the pitch table. Then you have a new song. Then export it to nsf.

Edit:
Is a robust pitch table editor for famitracker going to happen? Let's say my song uses (2A03/2A07) + VRC6. Many instruments.
I will not apply the pitch table to drum channels. And what happens if one of the square channels makes a kick and melody instruments in the same channel? Let's say the DPCM channel can be used both for drums and bass. The triangle channel can too make drums and bass. I will only apply the pitch table to melodic channels.

Edit:
Pitch table location in nsf files created by famitracker:

It starts with:
5B0D9C0C hex.

And it ends with:
0E000D00 hex.

@MikeFuryXP.
I created that thread.
And at the bottom. There is no program that let's me edit the pitch table with holding left mouse button and drawing new frequencies for every note in the fly.
