I just played through it, and I love it. The level is designed very well, and it kept me yearning for more. Awesome job Trax... ~_^'

I used to get alotta questions on how I did SMAS Luigi in Luigi's Chronicles, when you open up my hack you'll see the offsets right on the fly. I'm sure that the Japanese SMB hackers will love this program...

Personally I'd love to see this hack in action. But then again it's up to someone who wants to chef up a patch for the community, I just don't understand the /# /+ though. Unless I'm getting too old for this... ^___^'

Good looking out infidelity, I already made the patch after NetSplit's post. It's been a long time since I went in my ROM Hacking folder, I can't believe how rusty I am.

Here's what I found at Data Crystal infidelity, there's some sound effects data there. Unless you've been there already. It's been ages I've been here also... ^^'

Did the editor come with a mmskit.hpi file? It's been a long time since I opened up that editor, just in case it didn't use this if anything.

Yeah I love this hack, a hack like this I'd recommend to play to anyone who's a NES addict like me. ^^'

Have you ever considered hacking Zelda 1?

That editor did the same thing for me too when I first used it. I know this is going outta the way, but do you have all your windows updates? Because when I updated my windows, the editor did work for me and since then it's been opening without any problems.

That editor is tricky, I went through the same thing a couple of years ago.

Trust me, you'll like how this editor works. Before I lost motivation to hack, I was making a decent Heat Man level. And with this editor, you can see the level animations too.

You took out the video, you hadda had your reasons.

You did all that work, I'd say continue with it. Keep the flashlight, but make it that if you're almost running out shut it off so it can recharge (I think Half Life does that).

If anything, I'll try to come up with more ideas. See ya's... ^^'

Someone by the name Kuro posted this at RHDN...
-----------------------
Here's Kuwata's site: http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Bingo/2392/index.html

It says:

"※エディタが動かない人は以下の通りにしてください
「改造対象のロムをパス名を短いところへ置く(例えばCドライブ直下)」
それでも動かない場合は、エディタのフォルダそのものをパスの短いところへ配置してください
意味がわからない人は諦めるかリアル知人に聞くかネットで調べてください"

-or-

"If the editor won't run, please do the following.
Move the rom image to a location where the path is very short (such as right after C: ).
If it still doesn't run, move the rock2-e folder to a location where the path is very short as well."

---
At first I was getting the error message with (12) in it, but I placed the rom image inside of rock2-e and moved it right inside C:, and now everything works correctly, so I hope that helps.
-----------------------

I figure this'll help anyone who wants to use this editor now in case they're having prollems with it. G'nite! ^^'
