That website looks horrible in about every imaginable aspect.

Does that hack include any actual changes in gameplay or is it just a bunch of texture edits?
for now no but v2 will have remodeld levels and such

First I thought that the 3DS was a bunch of bullcrap
and now i see its not it would be great if Nintendo
put Super mario 64 DS on there think of the great grafics!
(sorry i Spelt that wrong) but yeah it would be awesome
realy because now that you an anolog stick thing
But I know im getting a 3DS when it comes out

I'm a bit confused how no one has replied yet. (I've been away so I'm excused, also I do not reply much anyway) This is looking good and looking forward to it. There are only a handful of SM64 hacks out there. So is this a full hack or just a few levels?



Its going to be a full hack but remember the demo hasn't even been released yet!

ROM Hacking just doesn't get that "hype" anymore, still there are tons of cool projects around.

Here are some videos of promising SM64 hacks. Hopefully in the future there will be more good level designers around (low-poly design can be very quick with SketchUp and other nice tools):




I knew about WW and star road
that dice thing was the only vid i didn't know about
But besides that ive got a question for you...
...how do you make walls solid becuase every time I import a level
my walls are non solid and i did not add the collision type for that

When ever I try to import my level the walls are non solid
I try EVERYTHING And that is just flat out annoying
becuase I made a lava level But There is a part where you HAVE to wall kick
i just go right through though.

What Kawa meant was this: We can't see pictures that are linked from your computer, you have to upload them to the internet and link to them there.

Photobucket, Tinypic, and our Uploader are relatively easy to use. Please pick one.

I knew that just didn't know that the Uploader could upload images

I'm making a new hack(title says that) and I've only made two levels
I'm giving anyone who wants to help an opportunity to be a part of this hack

Most likely your .obj file exceeded the maximum number of faces (6500 in the last version) or you simply didn't use the right scaling to your level. Try a simpler .obj file.

I'll recheck the error trapping code, I'm puzzled to why it said your level was sucessfully imported. Anyway, there's a new version (v14) with some major improvements:

- Set Lakitu Camera Presets for each custom level
- Disable some hardcoded camera settings (ROM settings menu)
- Custom music management tools: insertion, extraction, changing instrument sets
- New star positions (Bully Bosses, Boo Bosses, Eyerock, Penguin, Klepto, Wiggler, Mr. I, Treasure Chests, Piranha Plants, Peach Slide)
- New trajectories (Moving carpets, Checkboard Platforms, Metal Balls)
- Set peach slide timer limit
- Fixed problem with Fog colors
- Fixed restore option


And now what do you know!? v15 already! It deffanatlly(sorry I'm not the greatest speller) works great I'm making a new hack with it keep up the good work!
