Greetings;
Anyway, I use the same name for the wiki(Redux). I registered here to ask a question(, but since I have a forum account now might as well post a little). I'm new-ish, having registered on the Redux just a couple weeks back.

Hi,
Well, I was starting to create my first 'proper' boss(I've made a few things previously but I would call them semi-bosses, typically due to them lacking high durability or something else), the Surycrassyan cruiser. I planned to have lots of small guns all around the ship(mostly Act 3 or 5 Needlers or Small Vulcans, vaguely resembling that of WW2 antiaircraft guns). Now, these are supposed to fire only when the player crosses their line of sight, so I used an invisible search light plus Notify Status. I tried it out with one gun, an Act 5 needler mounted on a rolling panel, and it did start firing when the player entered the search area(&1, play movement), but didn't stop shooting even after the search area was exited(&!1, stop movement).
Could someone help? Thanks.

You checked the "Don't Delete after execution" box for the events?

Thanks! I've never really paid too much attention to that box, but it certainly solved the problem!(and a lot of other related ones too)

Not a directly Fraxy-related question, but I've found another fraxy forum at fraxyhq.com...so could I have a few more details about it?

Another question here: is it possible to edit the language file to have randomized text?

How many parts would constitute 'max parts'?

Greetings again folks, will be outputting another Fraxy boss in about a week or two! (planning to have less bullet spam, and a 'concept' design too...and as per a newly developed tradition, will have a rather longish name)

Anyway, as usual, I'll be flinging in a heap of little drones and fighters, so-a question on variables. What's the difference between variables and global variables?
Also, for one of the more complex drones, I intend to have it split in two once it reaches a certain health. I already have that in events, but before the thing spilts into 2, stage B will first transfer damage to stage A, and will only start absorbing its own damage after separation. Is there any way to do this without using variables?
