I barely have time to do a thousand things right now, I just got back from a holiday that has caused me to not sleep in 60 hours (it was a good 60 hours! ask tyty for details, pretty sure i'm too tired to make sense, but it involved 80mph winds and nowhere to stay), so I'm pretty disorientated and confused, going to bed in 20 minutes and I'll be back on sunday. I tried my best to not make this in to a log of my internal monologue.
IT IS TOTALLY COOL TO BE UNBANNED THOUGH! Seriously that was a really cool thing to see. Thanks for believing in the little guy! I just wanted to post some acknowledgment that you guys are all pretty cool people, and this picture is the only thing right now that can accurately describe the message I am trying to get across:  |

Edit: heck I should probably expand on this. Maybe the ability to show people exactly how another person may look at them, and how they affect that person, for good or for bad? |

To be honest with you, you should probably give some backing on this. I'm not sure whether all that stuff was actually in Castlevania, or whether this is a fan song, or who it's by. Fun to read, though. MP3?  |

I think perhaps I'd like to be involved in this discussion, but not here. It's probably something that's better kept to query, since, not wrongly, people don't like it when other people point out a flaw in them, so it's hard to be really critical. So if you guys come to the conclusion that a coin toss is the only way to decide between two people, ask me instead and I'll try and give a pretty evaluative report of both |

I'll tell you now, the topic was a ridiculous pun. Anyway ...
So, I'm sure most of you put deodorant on in the mornings (emphasis on most), probably because you smell like crap. I put on deodorant because of a continual fear that I'm going to start smelling terrible for no reason. Blame society
But the other day, my friend and I got to talking, because I realized he doesn't have any deodorant, and his view was basically this: "Your natural scent contains a thousand pieces of information about you, hormone levels, general health, whether you've been exercising in the last few hours .. and for thousands of years, that was how women chose a man. Now, that doesn't just drop off of the face of the human genome .. so as far as I can think, putting on deodorant makes people less attractive, but perhaps more bearable around their same sexed peers.", which made me get to thinking. I am well aware that being sweaty and smelling terrible is definitely not the best way to seem attractive, but perhaps there's some logic to what he said, maybe there's some way to cancel out the chemical waste in sweat, and leave just the hormones and pheromones. And, since the reaction women had was purely subconscious, maybe we filter out the "good" parts of the smell ourselves. Any thoughts? |
