Oh hey board, speaking of jobs, I just send in a job application down at the local Dollar General for part-time work over the holidays. Figured I'd pick up a little extra cash on the side while I can, and it's really close to so that's a plus.

I recently found out, however, that they do drug testing. I'm really nervous because I made a bad decision a couple of days ago pertaining to this. Aye, whatever happens, happens I suppose.

Seriously though, a Dollar General doing drug testing?!?

I personally can't stand Twitter. I've stuck with Facebook for quite some time, and IMO even with all the shitty UI changes it's still better than Twitter, Myspace, etc. To be honest I don't understand a blessed thing about Twitter. \(o_0)/

Yesterday this hit me and I just wasn't able to get it out of my head today. I would like to discuss the effects of music to the brain. I don't consider myself educated... heck I dropped out after sophomore year in high school, so bear with me please. It's quite commonly known that music can relieve stress and create an atmosphere for you. It can set the mood for just about anything. Everyone knows this. So, yesterday I played a song out of the blue and it's really amazing the array of emotions I went through after just the first 10 seconds of playing.

It's strange because it happened BEFORE the actual lyrics came in. The memories and emotions aren't exactly tied in with the song, I haven't heard this song enough to tie it in with anything at all. It just reminds me of summer and my summer love and the events that happened, and I go into deep reminisce mode. It's also strange that, with me, this doesn't happen with pictures or home movies.. just music. What exactly is the element that comes into play here that causes me to react this way to just music? I have no idea.

I've also done this with songs I've never heard at all before. Some songs just remind me of certain people, times, and the likes, and I start to reminisce. There's got to be something in my brain that causes me to react stronger to songs (regardless of hearing them before or not) than with pictures, etc.

So, board, what's your thoughts on the matter? Have you ever done this? If not, what object causes you to go into "deep reminisce mode"?

Boy, not much activity here, eh?

Sunny Sweeney - Staying's Worse Than Leaving

I just absolutely love her voice. It's ssoo cute. It's a shame that this girl isn't that popular.. I, for one, really like her. Totally in the "i want her" way.

I watch A LOT of movies. Almost one a night if you can believe it. The last one I watched was "Land of The Dead." The zombie slashin movie.. It's pretty nice, but I enjoy older movies (such as "Stand By Me" or "Full Metal Jacket") the most.

What are your guys thoughts on WWE Raw and SmackDown? I personally LOVE these shows. I catch both series every time they are on. I'm quite upset about the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry. I don't like him..

My favorite wrestler thus far is Randy Orton. Following close behind is John Cena and close behind that is CM Punk.

What are your guys favorite wrestlers in this branch?

Hi!

I've read several documents and tutorials on C# and I'm having a terrible time applying things I've learned into ROM hacking. I'm trying to program a NES metatile editor and I can't for the life of me figure out how to apply this darn class/method stuff. Well, I understand the concept but I don't understand how to apply it to hacking ROMs. I understand I need a class for an 8x8 Tile, AND a class for a 16x16 tile AND a class for the graphics? I've learned several things about C# in the past couple weeks (hell, I've basically re-learned the language), but I can't comprehend how to apply it to what I want to do. So far all I've been able to complete was drawing an single 2BPP 8x8 tile to a picturebox within a single class (form1).

I'm very confused when it comes to this overly complicated OOP concept and how to apply it to make a metatile editor.

Any help please?
