Congratulations! You're reading a post by Lazlo Falconi, Internet superhero!

...Or at least, back in the day I was an internet super hero. Now I'm an adult... (Not by choice). I usually don't make intro threads, preferring to just start post, so what is there to say? I'm a forum veteran, though I've for some inconceivable reason never posted on Acmlmboard (Which is good, because I was a total donger until like 2006) but I know the way it goes. I doubt anyone here would know me, but if you've seen a Lazlo Falconi on the Internet, chances are it was me.

I used to be all about emulation and forums. Until I graduated college, that was my love, that was my life. But I sort of fell off the face on the Internet for a few years, but I'm trying to make a come back and going to a bunch of sites I used to know about that are still around and... Whoa, that sentence kind of got away from me.

No, I am not in to ROM hacking, but I'm not exactly not into it, you know? That is to say, I've never done it (Except a few half-hearted attempts in Lunar Magic) but I'm not opposed to the idea. I'd have to say that if I were to ever attempt to hack a game, it would probably be something for the original GameBoy because I just love the limited... Well, everything about that system. it's probably one of my favorite all time video game consoles.

Anyway, here's a list of forums I've been to, just in case anyone here might have heard of them: Project Jenova was the first forum I went to but I don't go there any more and actually it doesn't exist, and Kiwibonga Advance was the first Acmlm-based board I went to, but it doesn't work any more. I was kind of a big deal on Rom-Source (And if you know my name, this is probably why) and the Protoman Homepage, then a few other sites nobody cares about, and these days I spend most of my time between Vizzed (Don't worry, I don't like it either--but it's damn near the only active forum I know of these days) and my forum, which runs AcmlmBoard XD, so I kind of go to their development forum occasionally too.

What else do ya want?

Scrydan, you should get a DeLorean, I hear they're making an electric version next year... If you have the means, I would highly suggest acquiring such a vehicle.

Well here's mine. I'm not such a fan of my system as it's set up right now, but I haven't had time to tweak every thing to my liking in a few years, and this installation is pretty messed up. The Window Manager is xfce, but I use wmii a lot, too (not pictured). I don't remember where I got the wallpaper from, unfortunately.

Hrm... Ideally, I'd have a version of FreeBSD that supports USB keyboards a bit better, and a top-of-the-line graphics card with OpenGL support (Like that'll ever happen). It would be primarily a work station, with two hex-core Intel Xeon processors, probably about 24GB of RAM, and four 1TB SSD drives in a RAID array (I forget which RAID type I want, but it's the one where information is decentralized across all four drives, so really it would work as just a single 1TB drive with crazy-fast write speed). Maybe two such arrays, actually. One for / and one for /usr. Also it would be nice if BlackMagic would support FreeBSD...

But I know none of this will ever happen, so I'll just go ahead and say head over to the Apple Store and max out the Mac Pro. That's what I want.
