I can't find a search button, or I'd've tried that first, but what I'm looking for is a way to change the properties of energy egg shrapnel.

To put it simply, I was recently playing Perfect Cherry Blossom, and many bosses in that launch waves of projectiles which rotate as they move outward in opposite directions, making for some awesome bullethells. All I can think of is sticking the energy egg launchers to a rotating object, and making them detonate immediately. But even should THAT work, some projectiles expire too soon.

Any ideas?

Yeah, that's the page that left me with questions, which is why I posted. I can choose a projectile type, but that isn't enough. What I'm looking for is a way to edit the shrapnel stats; as in, if I shoot a circular wave of bullets, I want to be able to set their expiration time, speed, etc.

It'd be one of the best possible additions, since bullethells would become much more interesting. As they are now, the bullet patterns are forced to be much simpler because of that.

When I first tried out fraxy, it was because I'd heard people on the Battleships Forever forum talking about it and was intrigued. I quite like fraxy's playstyle, and began some basic attempts at using the editor.

After reading some tutorials, I began to improve dramatically, giving rise to these: http://www.mediafire.com/?ym1emiw3ijn

Still, that wasn't good enough. I began to read some more tutorials about extra parameters, which caused me to create considerably more interesting designs such as this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?tmy33wjzqzy, which I was rather proud of.

But it wasn't until I'd played Perfect Cherry Blossom that I got a good respect for bullethells, and what they can be like if done well. So, I began working on a more tohou-like boss. It is, of course, still early in development, but I'm rather pleased with how it's going. http://www.mediafire.com/?0dztwymgiqm is my first version I'm willing to upload. It's still terribly buggy, but it's well on it's way to becoming quite a good boss. Please post some suggestions/comments.

All of my ships with shields, except about two of them, were made to simply limit where you can fight from. I used destructable shields on the Will of the Abyss; it was my first time trying it, and I used the shield as the boss's hp, mostly to avoid the charge blaster PT. The Will was also my first attempt at a truly awesome bullethell; after playing Perfect Cherry Blossom, I have no trouble dodging it though... except the homing attacks.

About two of my ships were made to be comletely impossible, and only one succeeded for me. The other, whichever one it was, I still managed to kill it.

My friend who made 'small but painfull'... I don't like the ship at all personally. It's completely assymetric and badly parented, and covered in spammed weapons and annoying shields.

I'm obviously trying mostly for awesome bullet patterns in general. My ship structures are often not the best imo, since they're generally just a bunch of stuff around a central point symetriclly, but it makes the bullets nicer. Though now I can do with one weapon what used to take me a large number of them.

I just use mediafire, mostly because I use it for other things as well, like some of my Battleships Forever ships, some Warsow gametypes and stuff. If I was just posting my stuff here, and if it was more than just fraxy, I probably would use the uploader here. But mediafire is great anyway.
