How about to use the OST of the Megami Tensei Games as base?

I'm Not Familiar with these games,but as i said before i'm STILL a Noob at Hacking (I Tried ASM Coding but that Slide was a Failure...And i Do not know how to Replace Music,i know you could use (Famtracker created) NSF and some how program it into the NSF of the Hack,i know coldiced has Done it.)

Jeffrey I would recommend you to use other music for the Boss Battles. Seiken Densetsu 3 has some neat Boss Themes,
not to forget the Contra 3 Boss music. Also Saga Frontier's Battle Musics are awesome as well.

I'm Changing it anyway,i wasn't pleased with the Outcomes.

Although there weren't more Boss Musics in Megaman 2, I would recommend other music for the Castle Bosses, the Wily Machine and the Final Battle.
Keeevin on Youtube can help you, since he is a pro with Famitracker. Bails8bit is also skilled with said programm.

I think Kevvviiinnn is Busy at the moment with others....i'm asking Bails8bit for a Song for my Fangame

I haven't debugged Megaman 4 for a long time. Now I am looking to seek a code.

I tested the enemy outside of Bright Man's level. Only Bright Man's stage has the timer when the lights go back on. Finding the timer and stage should be easy but it may take a while. Even the special enemy from the Effect Enemy EX patch didn't work too well in Bright Man's stage.


it might help me because i'm gonna Totally replace this (Along with the enemy it self)

that is once i get to this Final Hack of the Episode Series...
EDIT:i'm Working on a Fangame and a Rom-Hack at the sametime,and in-between the Breaks i will Work on the Hack The Hacks will be Hacked off of MM2,MM3,& MM4
The MM2 Hack that i'm working on is More or less going to be a Simple Level/Weapons Hack
The MM3 Hack will be the Same as Above...

but,The MM4 Hack will be Very Long like How Infedelity's Hack is...except there are 12 Bosses (instead of 8) each Varying from Megaman Games i have already chosen MM1's,MM2's,MM3's,& MM4's Represenatives
There is going to be 6 Wily Stages (By Expanding the rom a Bit to add 2 more levels)
plus,There's some other Bosses appearing within the hack that are from the Gameboy Games,PC,& X Series (Possibly)

Since i've planned to do these hacks i hope that most of you can help me over the next few Years...that is if you want.

It's been awhile since I've been here. I'm working on a new Megaman project called, Megaman Melee.

It's a 2 player game where players can choose the following...

Megaman, Protoman, ALL Robot Masters from Megaman 1-6, Even some versions of Dr.Wily.

I've done some tests where I was able to alter a metools assembly code, to make it so I could make him shoot.

I've been tinkering with the Megaman 5 rom, and I've figured out how to 're-enable' the 2nd contoller. Also in this process, I've found out that Megaman 5 has a 2nd contoller Debug Feature, which I'll share with everyone, a link will be posted at the end of this post.

As of right now, there is no in-game footage or screenshots. I'm currently working on the fighter select screen, adding all the Mugshots, Palettes, Mughshot Sprites, etc, etc.

As for levels. The levels will be 1 screen only, no scrolls, no pits. Each fighter will have they're original level as a background.

I will also be adding additional features like backround enemies that can interfere with the match. One in particular I've been thinking of are the lasers from Quickman's level

Various levels will contain CHR swapping, IRQ scrolls, 'want to fight Gyroman on his elevators?'

I'm not the internet that much anymore due to personal issues I had earlier this year.

In this post I'll include a video showing a very bare fighter select screen, showing off the usage of 2 controllers, the vast amounts of mugshots installed, and my coding of Megaman 8's stage select song.

That's all for now. When I have something more complete where people can try this out, I'll make a new thread in the ROM Hacking section. Take Care everyone.

Jeffrey - I got your pms, and apologize for getting back to you. I lost alot of my notes and files dealing with Ultra 2, but when im ready to pick that rom up again, id love to get the spritesheet of Blazeman again. As for the Rockman Killers, are you talking about Enker, Punk, etc? If so, im not. In Ultra 2, ive always wanted to do so.

This Rom Hack deserves the title of "Best MM4 hack"

this rom hack is a Triumph,and in all saying,by far this Game needs to be continued Matrix,i want more of this hack,i think i can say for us all...this is indeed a Triumph in Rom Hacking (To the MM Community)
