What's the best program out there to record stuff on my computer screen, such as a ROM game play video? (Preferably free)

Whew! Yellow is done now. He was certainly a doozy. Moving on to Black now, which will probably be a bigger handful than Yellow since he's replacing Geno. All of his attack moves will have to be completely redone because I don't see Black attacking by shooting off his arms or having bullets pop out of his elbow or morphing into a cannon. I've been trying to put together a little video demo of what I have so far but I can't seem to get sound on the videos. I have a sound driver I need to update but the link for it from the Realtek website never seems to work so I don't know what to do. *sigh* |

Debut seems like it'll work fine if I could get the sound working. I need to update some sound driver but the link for it on the realtek site seems to always be down. I'm at a bit of a loss here... |

Device Manager insists that my sound drivers are up to date, even though they're not. I bought this laptop in June and I haven't updated sound drivers in a few months and I know more updates have come out since then.
Google has been unfriendly to me since I don't know the exact name of the driver I'm looking for. Searching "realtek audio driver update" and things of the sort have not gone too well for me. I've researched the problem and I need to find something called "stereo mix" or something similar in my recording devices list and enable it. I've tried clicking on "show disabled devices" like everyone tells me to do, but it still doesn't show. EDIT: Oh wow. I just rechecked my recording devices and the "stereo mix" thing just decided to appear. I swear it was not there yesterday. That is seriously weird, considering I haven't actually done anything today. Oh well, problem solved. I'm good to go. Thanks a ton for the help everyone. |

No, you can just pegasus run into the wall and it will send you back across the gap to continue on.
Link looks the same to me too. He doesn't appear to have been changed from the last version. There are a few animations where Link's hat appears, such as when grabbing and lifting things. |

I'm really no expert on this sort of thing, but you could try looking at how much similar products are selling for.
Are these things difficult to come by? If so it might be worth even more than you bought it for if you can grab the attention of the right die-hard Zelda fan. |

Does ZSNES have a recording feature?
Either way, I finally got this video software I downloaded to work so it looks like I'll be able to put together some kind of demo after all. I'm just debating whether or not I should wait until after Black and Pink are done to do it. |

Hey sports fans,
I made an interesting discovery when doing some Axem Black work. To see if everything was working correctly with sprites thus far, I decided to watch the title screen demo thing. As it turns out, the sprites in the game that I thought were unused, (the 2nd goomba, the 2nd hammer bro, and even the 2nd Czar dragon) weren't unused at all; they were used in the title demo. Messing with their scripts reflects what they do in the demo. So because I have messed with the hammer bro battle scripts from the demo, the title demo does not run past the point where Mario fights the Hammer bros. This is not really a big deal since you don't need to watch the title demo to play the game, I just thought it was interesting to note. On another, more relevant note, I am still working. But I still haven't decided what to do about Geno's projectile weapons. I suppose I could just draw Black some guns or something. |

I don't think Vista or 7 is the problem per se.
I had Vista when I first started using Lazy Shell and it worked fine. I now have Windows 7 and it still works fine. |

I haven't been able to update very much this past week because I've been super busy and have had very little time to work on this. This weekend should be better. I'll definitely have more time to work. BUT that isn't to say I haven't made any progress: I have done quite a bit of work on Black. I hope to have him done sometime in the next week. |

Hello again gang,
This week has turned out to be busier than I had hoped with tests and projects and what not. But fear not, work is still getting done. Black is getting a lot closer to completion. I think for Black's "Geno Flash" attack (I haven't decided what to name it yet) I'm going to have him shoot the flare out of a bazooka of some kind. I've also decided to keep Double Punch as an attack for Black. He's wearing some kind of special battle suit, so why can't the arms fly off? |

I don't know if I can edit the main flare part of Geno Flash. In the sprites section, i can find Geno Flash's "face" (The face that appears in the middle of the flare) but I can't find the actual flare part of it anywhere. |

He used to have it on his website for anyone to download so he obviously didn't want to keep it to himself or to certain people or anything like that. |
