I'm just throwing this out here, but could the threes inside the symbol be telling us the number of letters to enter? Someone try something like powwiscou.php (Power Wisdom Courage) or one of its varients.
The question also mentioned the location of the Triforce in OoT, the Sacred Realm. Could this have something to do with the answer? Side note, where do I enter the answer? I know it's in the address bar, but do I have to be on a specific site to do it? ____________________ |

There's a secret exit in the level "AREA 16B." To get to it, you must have pressed all the switches. When you come out of a pipe at one point, you'll land on some green ! blocks. Just follow the now accessible path to the secret area, then work your way through the bonus area with the saw blade. Once through there, you must go through a fake wall in the end of bonus area to find another hidden bonus area. You must have the yellow switch pressed to continue in this new yellow area. Go through the door to end up in a blue area. Grab the springboard when you come across it and carry it until you find the door. You need the blue switch to enter this door. In the next red area, grab a POW from one of the blocks and use it to reach the next door. You must have the red switch to reach this door. After this, you'll end up at the secret exit, a little ways ahead. ____________________ |

My newest sub-map for my SMW hack. An ice world obviously. I turned off the future layer one tiles and mario paths so you can see the main parts of the world and not give away level locations at the same time. I know that some more general detail is needed--I'll work on that when I get back from Florida this weekend. Comments? Also, unrelated, does anyone know where I can contact FPI, the creator of The Second Reality Project? I want to ask if I can use some of his ExGFX. ____________________ |

Oh, that part. It'll play a role in the game. It's not random.
(Edited because Higsby made a good point about revealing stuff from my game.) ____________________ |

The hotel my orchestra is staying at actually is nice this year, compared to the crappy Howard-Johnson Motel we stayed at two years ago. It has complimentary breakfast, a beautiful lobby and internet access for free. Not much else, this is kind of just a hi from Florida.
We went to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure yesterday. It was great. I went on all the major rides. Doom Drop, The Incredible Hulk roller coaster, Dueling Dragons, and Whatever the Jurassic Park water ride is called. (The one with the animatronic dinosaurs.) Oh well, I gotta get off. The hotel has a 15 minute time limit and I'm close to it. I'll post more when I get back home because we check out at 10:45 EST. P.S. I saw interdpth's MZM hack demo on the Release board and really wish I was home right about now to test it. ____________________ |

And now I'm posting back from home in VA.
It was a lot of fun at Islands of Adventure. And yes, I did find the arcade there. I got the 4th place monthly high score on the Gunbound game and also blew about five bucks trying to beat Time Crisis 3 with a friend. ____________________ |

Ok, I played this, but I have to ask, how much did you change for the demo? I counted maybe 8 rooms that were changed: The beginning, the vertical room towards Kraid, the third brinstar room, Bomb room, room before bomb room, elevator to Norfair, and the room with the space pirate and maybe one more. I even sequence broke my way up to Varia Suit using Diagonal Bomb-Jumping to see if you'd changed anything up there but nothing new. Is this truly all there was? I know this was a demo but it felt...lacking.
Also, was the new stuff in the video just added over the past few days since the demo? ____________________ |

Cool, I give inspiration.
Anyways, I think that if you have an idea for a story, go for it. Who says you need a strong following on this board to be able to write it. there are plenty of other places to showcase your work, online or in real life. Or, you can just write for yourself. That's what I did with my first story, until I discovered online communities. I say that you should start writing it and if you find yourself to continue to have inspiration as you write, keep going. ____________________ |

I have to say that I don't think it's a very good idea to have to use such difficult sequence-breaking techniques to progress in the game. I'm a very good player at MZM, having beaten the game in 46 minutes and completing the 15% Hard run, but I still have trouble with infinite and diagonal bomb jumping. I'm guessing that very few people, if any, can pull the tricks off with true consistency, so for those who can't, what happens to them?
My strong recommendation is to think about the limits of an average player. Don't throw in crazy hard techniques as required challenges just because you can pull it off. It took me 20+ tries and many savestates to successfully get to the Varia Suit and from what I saw in the demo video, it'll take many more tries just to progress a little. ____________________ |

That's pretty sweet. An ASM hack like that could open up a lot of possibilities for level design. I'd really like to see this implemented in a future hack. ____________________ |

Ok, I was just thinking about it a little. Glad to hear that things are changing. Plus, five hours seems like a good time for a game based off Zero Mission, seeing how people can beat it so quickly nowadays. I continue to look forward to this game and future releases of Zero Fission. ____________________ |

Not bad at all; I can see promise in it. Nice use of description and good job ending the chapter with a cliffhanger. That's a very good way to keep people interested, but that doesn't mean to do it every chapter.
I'm interested in it. Even though this writing board is pretty dead to the rest of the users here, keep posting more as you write. At the very least, you'll have one reader, and hopefully more. ____________________ |

I don't see anything much wrong with the overworld, just a few suggestions though.
1. Maybe put a few more rocks in the sea on the right of the main overworld, but not too many more. 2. There's a few places where you don't have the little wrap-around corner edge tiles, like in the Special world sub-map along the cliff edges. 3. The parts where you have big expanses of sky bug me for some reason. There's not much you can do for the Bowser one, but maybe you could create a sun or something for the Special map's sky. 4. The blue parts of the big trees aren't doing it for me... It looks unnatural. (Then again, so do trees with faces but that's beside the point.) I'd go with a different color. Other than those few minor things, it looks really good. If your levels are as well designed as the overworld, I think it'll turn out great! (Edit: I did not just copy off of Koitenshin's comment. I wrote that on my own then saw that he'd written something very similiar. ) ____________________ |

Posted by okibi There's something going on with this quote. The wording and paragraph breaks are unlike okibi's other posts. Also: Posted by okibi He uses a double negative in here. I'm pretty sure that by saying "No, there is no hint," that means that there is one. I think we need to look at this thing closer. I immediately tried the first letter of each paragraph: A R F B I N Means nothing to me. Maybe if it's rearranged... ____________________ |
