It's been a while since I showed anything of Super Mario Eternity besides the one level video I posted not too long ago.
I'm kind of having a level slump right now. I'm trying to make about three at once but I've been really working on the overworld and graphics instead. I got all the submaps done now except world 9, which I need to create a large graphics set for (wish me luck!). Here's what they look like minus world 9. The future layer one tiles are turned off, so I don't give too much away. The main overworld is in a state of huge incompletion, hence my not showing it. (Can you say tiles thrown everywhere?) Through my messy building though, I have all the pathing and level placements done so all that's left in the landscape and events. There's going to be a key door that opens after world 7 but I need to figure out how to make it work right... I think it has to do with the layer 1 events... So for now this is all I've got. I'm hoping to have some level shots soon to show as well. Later. ____________________ |

I've finally got some level pictures to show.
Castle #4, Color Castle. If the colors make your eyes bleed I'm sorry, I'll tone them down. I'll probably make the background darker still. Crystal Ice Cave. I'm thinking to move this to my ice submap because it makes more sense that on world 4 (general mix of levels). The tileset is custom made using a translucent mode. The Cave of Inversion. Going through pipes flip the colors, the solid blocks become walk-through and vice-versa. I'm staring to worry if I'll have enough ideas and motivation to finish the rest of the levels...I feel that I'm missing the spark I had a long time ago. ____________________ |

For me:
1. Pokémon Pearl 2. Pikmin 2 again. 3. Beat FF3 (SNES) 4. Finish re-playing Second Reality Project 2 without using rewinds or save states. I don't leave many outstanding games. I'm usually pretty quick to finish them up. In fact, the only game I've truly never beaten was Bomberman 64: The Second Attack. The final boss has like five damn forms and there's no chance to heal inbetween! No thanks. I'll youtube the end or something if I want to... ____________________ |

Yeah, Dusk Balls work fine for them, just have a lot and give them a condition first, like sleep Paralyze, etc. I didn't and gave up trying after a while. Mespirit is still wandering around Sinnoh for me though so with so Quick Balls and luck, I could snag it.
Also, what's the recommended level for facing the Elite Four? IGN says at least 55, my friend who is a pro at the game says 45 (but he is a pro) and I got to the champ at an average of 50 my first time. I'm still struggling with it and have to say that I hate Bronzong with a passion now. Plus, I can't find any good places to train. The best place I've found in the lake in Victory Road because of the level 45-50 Golbats. The rest of Victory Road sucks for me because of the Medichams. I hate those things! ____________________ |

Well, I got through with my guys at an average of 53, except my Luxray who is at 58. I only won by pure luck. I was down to Palkia with 40 health and no one else when the champ's Garchomp used Dragon Rush and missed. I countered with Spacial Rend and killed it. After that came the champ's Milotic, which kept using Surf against my Palkia and only doing 20 damage a hit so I stalled and healed my team. The rest was easy.
I'm so happy to be done with that now. On to Battle Isle. ____________________ |

I could care less really. Swapping gender for a uber-powerful item is a small catch. Unless the items eventually get taken away, in which case I want my moneys back when it does. ____________________ |

I'm about ready to finish up world 4 after a real long time of being stuck. I've got to can one level I have because when I made it, I made it as a world 1 level but now it's a world 4 and I can just do a simple "add enemies and tough jumps to increase difficulty" trick.
Overworld is just about done too, all I need is a set of graphics for it then I'm done there for now. I may have to go change a submap though. The layout is bothering me. ____________________ |

Ah yes I do have one: Try something like this. Use a translucent mode for ice caves. Of course, use your graphics for it. Just remember, when using transparent, the brighter the color, the less transucent it will be, the darker, the more translucent. ____________________ |
