IIRC, you just need to repeat each step of the event. For instance, instead of doing 1-2-3, you'd do 1-1-2-2-3-3.
Got it? |

If you're really worried about layouts not meeting your parent's standards, you're probably better off purchasing the Jedi Training Helmet. |

The problem with movie-based games, and licensed games in general, is money. Producers of movies (by and large) seem to think of games as just another part of their merchandising process, and thus try to rush the game out the door as quickly and cheaply as possible. Back in the day (ie 8/16-bit eras) this was a semi-effective strategy, since the money and manpower needed to make a good game was significantly less than it is nowadays (though actual talent has always been in short supply). Developers now have to simultaneously deal with the same ol' development times in addition to modern gamer expectations (the worst of which being "more").
... Anyways, most good licensed games seem to have at least one of the following attributes: 1. The licenser has a genuine interest in producing a good game (King Kong, Chronicles of Riddick, "Epic Mickey"* (TBD)) 2. The developer sought to acquire the license from the licenser, not the other way around (NES era Sunsoft, late-NES era Konami) 3. The release of the game is not meant to coincide with the release of a product (Goldeneye, Capcom/Disney) There's definitely more things that could be added to this list, but I don't want to spend too much time writing this post. *I hope that isn't the game's real title. |

I'd attribute the lack of interest to the fact that this game isn't very popular amongst Mega Man fans (for various reasons) and hackers tend to be interested in games they're fans of.
In other words, this topic would be 10 pages by now if the 7 in the title was replaced by an X. Still, I'm somewhat interested in the prospect of an editor. Replaying the game recently, it was much better than I remembered (though the final boss is as bad as ever). Oh, and just out of curiosity, have you tried using BSNES's debugger? I've heard that its significantly better than Gieger's SNES9x debugger. |

I prefer playing games while sitting down in front of a TV in a nice chair (there are some exceptions) to playing games while hunched over a keyboard.
But I also prefer the conveniences emulation provides to the hassles caused by using old and unreliable hardware. So I'd either have the real thing with some sort of flashcart or an emulator hooked up to a TV. |

As a person who used to play a metric ton of shareware games as a wee little lad, keyboard controls are second nature to me. (Though Ctrl & Alt were in vogue back in the day, not Z & X. I blame the Windows Key.) |
