Woah, these all look great.

Reminds me how much I'm falling behind with Fraxy, too.

Whenever I decide to play it again, I'll definitely try these out.

Kawa, do you think I should buy New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Pokemon Emerald, or Super Mario Bros: The Movie?

(Any deja vu you might be experiencing is perfectly normal)

I had an original DS when they came out, but it had a dead pixel and a little smudge on the top screen that would never go away. Eventually, I gave it to a friend who really wanted a DS...

...By which time I had a DS Lite! Which is the same one I own today. I may get a DSi in the future, though.

I made this name up a while ago while I was thinking up a new username (previously I used FinalRound everywhere).

It's an anagram of my surname with -ion added to the end.

Looks like I'll finally get to play Mega Man Zero and Mega Man Zero 2 after all.

That's a good idea. I always wondered what it would be like if they were angry all the time...

Hahah, I didn't think you'd actually go through with that suggestion. Just how I imagined it, too!

Actually DruidVorse, that's only an implication. In MMZ5, you play a helmetless Zero, and you have a very noticable limp in the first level or two.

Heh...well, that would be interesting.

Have you ever thought what it would be like to play a classic NES game using characters from other NES titles? Well, hope no further, because now it has been done by one Jay Pavlina (AKA The Exploding Rabbit)!

Super Mario Bros. Crossover is a free Flash game that lets you play through the entire Super Mario Bros. game using Mega Man, Link, Samus, Simon Belmont, Ryu Hayabusa, Bill Rizer...and of course Mario himself! (But playing as him all the time here would be completely missing the point...)

Still not convinced? Well, here's a few videos from the creator's YouTube channel to help persuade you further:

(Note that this video is from a version that is out of date)

Newcomer: Ryu Hayabusa!

A general trailer for version 1.1 (Which is now kinda out of date) that shows off some of the new features that this version introduced.

Note that this is still a fairly recent game (Version 1.0 appeared on the Internet on the 27th of April 2010) and more updates are sure to come in the future.

(On a side note, this is my first topic on Board2. Huzzah!)

What? How so?

Come on, it's not even out yet. At least give it a chance...personally I think it and (most) of its games so far are going to be amazing.

Uh...well, as for STUPID things Nintendo have done, that Virtual Boy went pretty badly.

OH I'LL TELL YA [theve]or however ya spell that(i forgot already made 3! ds
systems! and they dont know anything better!

Oh, not this AGAIN...the 3DS isn't another version of the DS, it is a completely new system in almost every way.

I mean, just look at the trailers for some of the announced games! Even just counting graphical capabilities, do you honestly believe that the DS could do something like what we have seen so far?

Ah, this thread fits me so much! I'm surprised I didn't see it earlier.

There's this one Sega Mega Drive game (At least I think it was for the Mega Drive. Either that or the SNES) where you get turned into a round blue blob with one arm by an evil wizard and you have to go on a journey to get your true form back. I remember you could take enemy abilities a bit like Kirby games, and there was a Super Mario Bros. 3 style world map.

I've looked for this game for many years, but I've never quite found it (Although I've seen some similar games, I know they're not it). I wonder if anyone else remembers this game, or even knows what it's called...

I think you're thinking of Smartball. But you can't get enemy's powers.

It's for the SNES.

But you get turned into this slime. I'm fairly sure that's what you're thinking of.

Also there was an unreleased (Only available in Beta roms) called Jelly (Jerry) boy 2.

Jerry (Jelly) boy is the Japanese name for Smartball.

And the world map on Smartball wasn't SMB 3 style. Mayhaps this isn't the game. I'm not sure.

Yeah, I checked out that game but since it isn't quite the same (Similar plot idea though) I'm pretty sure it's not what I'm looking for. Plus, I'm 75% sure it was a Mega Drive game...

Just finished this game. Any idea if there will be any more updates?

There will definitely be more, once the creator gets his housing situation sorted out.
