I just saw the youtube videos, and I didn't even know the three games existed. I'm going to now go and download the roms, if I can even find any for this piece of utter crap, and search for a shred of decency in them.
There actually is a purpose for them though, they'll help me waste time while I download Legend of Mana... I never did finish that game.. piracy aside, If I don't come back, the "zelda" games killed me. So sue Phillips for me if it happens. I was, after all, the sole man who would invent the time machine, the cure for cancer, the cure for aids, and become the greatist guitarist of all time, so my life should at least be worth all the money they have. Actually more than that... and for all you people who take things too seriously, that last paragraph was a JOKE.  |

I think it does, but then again, its a pretty damn small pic to judge... I can't even tell what it's trying to show me... a kid with an ipod and some weired postcard in the top-left corner? I don't see a wii at all...
BTW, it mighht be because my screen resolution is 1280x1024 -- it would show up 'bigger' if I was displaying less pixels... |

I found some tabs on ultimate-guitar.com, and they are from some split infinity band.
damn are they awesome, but I've searched from limewire to bittorrent, and there seem to be absolutely no mp3s/information about this band anywhere on the net except for guitar tab sites, which house only the tabs and no more. any idea on how I can find out more about them? |

I call it imprisonment.
To be free in nature, wild, untamed. to run through the mountains, and climb through the trees. To breath the fresh dew, from the crisp morning air. Unbridled by worry, Unhindered by fear. To feel passion once more, for all that is done. And to once more be whole, as the world is let go. To be free in nature, as we're supposed to be. It may not be the most excellent poem I have ever written, but to me it has a lot of power to it. I'm trying to make a statement on how society traps us in with work, school, and adds in borders and boundaries for life, when few of us are truly happy and get to enjoy life. We work from day to day, and some of us come home to nothing. And once in awhile, when your late to work or school and really don't give a shit, you go outside after a rainstorm, and you smell the fresh spring air and wish you could escape the meaningless toils you must perform everyday without reason. For mans roots are from true freedom, and to deny that is to deny oneself. At least thats the way I feel. I went into detail because I think most people would interpret it as some sort of "go back to nature" sort of deal. Technology is fine by me, but we shouldn't live in a world that revolves around the work people do, we should live in a world that revolves around the people in it. A world that cares when they are sick/injured. A world that understands that some people are truly alone. If you like it, I can write more I guess... |

OK, no spyware or virus detectors pick up anything, but awhile ago, it linked me to some other... undesirable places when I type in a URL wrong. Instead of your friendly neighborhood Page not found error, I get a page filled with fake (or real...) links to all sorts of porn.
the pages I get redirected to are all the same exact one, but under like 5 million domain names, so blocking them through the hostfile doesn't work. some of these pages are foxic.net and wbr4.com and unavailablepage.com there is nothing obscene on these pages that I can see, only words and links. stay away from there and you should be fine... there are more Domain names, but I dont know how many, and I only get 192.255 from the IP address of the site when I go there, I cant freeze it long enough to read it all. is there any way to get my regular error pages back? I'm using the latest firefox, and I have no clue how they got there, or whats making them tick... |

my computer is powerful enough to run any game on the market at good quality, so why should I need to upgrade?
because game companies are fucking starting to use directx10. I need to get vista because of this. This computers sole purpose is gaming, I built it with that in mind only. however because vista is a resource vampire, I need to upgrade everything, and I mean everything. Hell, I'll probably need a better processor too. my current specs are: initial model: Emachines T6536 processor: AMD Athalon 64 3800+ sound: integrated Hard drive(s): one 250 GB HD, and one seagate 40 GB Ram: 1024 mb DDR SDRAM, dual channel Graphics card: BFG Nvidia GeForce 7900 GT OC (256 MB Ram, forgot the clock speed, but its fast enough, in the PCI-Express slot) I figure I'm going to want a new processor if I buy vista (home premium edition), 1 more gig of ram. My card should be fine, not sure if it supports shader 4.0 but it should, its rather new, and I'd be pissed if the card I got isnt "good" anymore. I bought it less than a year ago for like $300 (a little more I think) so what am I going to want to replace, and about how much will I need to buy the stuff at a store like best buy (cant buy online, no credit/checking account). Keep in mind, I prolly wont run aero, and Im looking for bare minimum cost here. Just good enough to get games running fullspeed/good graphics. Right now I can get oblivion better looking than on the 360 with good enough framerate. on a side note, will I need a new processor necessarily? I mean, I know I want a faster one, with another core, but is it a necessity if I install vista? my processor is single core, 2.40 GHz, rated at 3.80 GHz, with a 2000 MHz System bus and 512 KB L2 cache. anyway, some estimates on prices would be nice. Im not sure how many pins the motherboard has for a processer, and Im not even sure If I could get one thats much better than what I have now anyway... |

Posted by Rankitty believe me, I've been there, until last year I was going strong with 644 MHz, 64 MB ram (11 allocated to graphics), a crappy old crt monitor, a keyboard filled with mold, 20 Gig HD, and, well, something far worse than yours now. I can remember when my sister gave me a pc about as powerful as yours, and I was like OMFG. Then I got this ultra fast beast. It really does run FAST. anyway, if you want a new pc, I have one sitting in my basement that might be for sale pretty cheap. Looks like shit, because I'm using an old compaq case thats semi-broken, and I had to Jam a CDRW drive in because the one I wanted to use just didnt fit in the case... Built it myself, and I guarantee it works fine. I dont know them all, but I think these specs of it (if I'm wrong and your interested, I'll tell you then...): Ram: I think 512MB Processor: intel, at about 2.4 Ghz (I think) audio: integrate video: integrated video expansion slot: I believe it is AGP, not pci-e HD: one 30 gig (maybe 20?) and one real small one I salvaged thats only like 5GB. Operating system: Currently none If your interested PM me, and I can get you the full specs, and without the "I think" comments  Id prolly sell it pretty cheap anyway...

I have the money to buy a damn wii. But no. The only wiis I could track down were over 100 miles away, and there were only 4 as of last night. I can rarely get rides, so waiting for the store to get them in is out of question, I can't pay in credit (only check/money order), so even if I wanted to buy one of the highly overpriced ones I can't Yet little bitches who don't even want to play the damn things fucking buy them to sell them for more. well I hope everyone knows If I see a wii anywhere in the near future I'm just gonna jack the console. I don't care if it's illegal. I tried things the legal way. I had an opportunity to steal one from my school a month ago but didn't (they ran a contest at after-prom. Hell, I could've justified it by saying I'd never get a prom date anyway, it's going to be true, I wont) FUCK THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR BULLSHIT. They make it of so hard for people who actually want the damn thing to get it. If you took every Wii off ebay, and put it back in the store THERE WOULD BE LITTLE/NO DEMAND I don't give a shit. I'm right. Period. If Nintendo doesn't start making more I'll buy a 360 (even though I don't want one, and won't play it) just a a fuck you to Nintendo. I don't care about the press releases. Face the facts. They sold over 2 million consoles. They've got the cash to make more and fill this demand. They CHOOSE not to. Well Their losing my business. If the rest of the world weren't dumb asses they'd stop buying too. I don't care. This is in no way fair for me. There is absolutely no feasible way for me to aquire one, no matter what, within the next 8+ months. Probably a year or two. first off, I can't go store to store until someone has it. Both parents are out from 4 AM to about 11PM almost every day. (one works long hours, the other one has to wait to get picked up) and we only have one car, that is gone most of the time.
to get to a store, I'd have to walk 10+ miles on the highway in either direction to get to a city. There are one or two days I could check stores and on very limited hours. I had a friend who got one that way, but there is just no way for me to do it. Posted by Squash Monster wanna know the truth? I hate both capitalism and democracy. So I apply for the only place I can work at within 20 miles (I have to walk to work. see the first sentence of the post...). I apply. Never even get a letter or a call back. so now what am I stuck doing. Literally sitting in a chair or on my bed doing absolutely nothing thinking about how much I hate the world. How much I want, deserve, and need but don't get. And then I see these people who take for granted all they have while I wallow in nothing, and all I do is wish them death. at this point, my parents pitied me and my mom is willing to give me a few of her pay checks. Yes, I'm fairly poor, but we do alright during the summer because my mom can work. Hell I could still get one of the $400 wiis, I'd just feel too much damn guilt. I already feel bad about taking the money. I'm pissed. More then just at not getting a wii. It's more than that. I don't care anymore. I'm sick and tired of helping others, and being giving, while suffering horribly. I wasn't always like this, at one point, I was violent. I got what I wanted, no questions asked. The end justified the means. I didn't care if I took food out of a starving babies mouth. That was a long time ago. Now I'm a damn pussy who won't even defend himself. I've had enough public humiliation for a lifetime, and more than enough failure. I don't give a shit any longer. I'm going back to the old me, to the extreme. I don't care what success requires. I WILL get what I want. even if I am denied. I don't care if the pathway to success is robbery, violence, suicide, murder, hell, any act you can think of. As long as I get what I want, what I need. I Don't have a chance in this world so I'll simply take everyone elses damn chances through force. none of you people have any idea what true suffering and hatred are. They do not make you turn 'emo' or 'goth' or make you cut yourself. Hell, people can seldom even notice unless they are very perceptive. Real pain eats at your soul. It leaves you with nothing but agony -- it is the agony that leads to anger and the anger to destruction. if you wonder why I don't see a psychiatrist the answer is simple. I know what I have wrong with me, but I don't want to use drugs to fool myself, and put quite simply, there is nothing they could ever do to make me feel better. There are a certain few rigid, unchangeable things I need that I am not getting (The wii is NOT one of them of course) and as long as it is out of my power, I will only continue to fall deeper into this state. I already know I've lost my mind through grief... |

my grandfather died recently too. Of terminal cancer...
I know how it feels. He knew he had lukemia for about a year or so before hand, and chose not to tell anyone (in the US, its confidential between patient and doctor by law). he lived for like 3 or 4 days in the hospital and died there. I'm sorry, but assuming your as young as me, both of us will only face more deaths later in life...  |

yeah but like the others said that stuff isn't really popular around here.
you could get much more info and help from a site that is dedicated to it and has developers on site at all times than you could here anyway... there are sites that serve as hubs for such things anyway, and they're usually hardware specific. So there really is no need for this community to bother with it. I mean geez, look how little use the hardware/software and programming forums get these days, and far more people are interested in those than in specific console homebrew... |

I went to a party and got completely smashed. I'm a light guy, the only one in my family who drinks, and I just started drinking, so my tolerance is pretty low.
I had some beer, like 2 shots of vodka, and a really tiny amount of rum. I woke up nauseous like I had a hangover but after a shower and breakfast I felt fine the rest of the day yesterday. lol I woke up and was still a little tipsy too. I was acting totally retarded and I know I was even though I thought I wasnt at the time. I havent seen a video, but the last thing I remember doing is lying down, and I guess I might've passed out. IDK I dont remember falling asleep. I don't remember a few things -- like watching the ball drop, ik I did, and I raised an arm and shouted, but I don't remember seeing it at all. I was really hammered bad. it was all good fun tho, and it felt great lol. so what did u guys do? |
