Hello members. I am Ninjablooper. I was recommended by Aaendi who mentioned how the people are willing to help with stuff (like the opposite of SMWC ). This looks like an intelligent forum and I can't wait to become active.

I got the basic idea down, but for some reason I always mess up somewhere. Can someone please take a look at this test file and see if they can fix it and tell me what I did wrong.

I want to learn Japanese so I don't have to deal with this American and European version changes. It is annoying how the stupidest things are changed.

If you didn't guess I playing through I Wanna Be the Guy. I've already got stuck on part and am starting to get angry. I'm at the graveyard where the spikes move up and down quickly on easy difficulty. I really hope I get farther soon. How many of you have played or beat it?

Thank you. I already like the atmosphere here. I've only been on one forum with as good as an atmosphere as here. Also, I only knew one member here before joining so no one will comment on my noobish past a long time ago.

Cool. Also feel free to lock this and bump the old one if you wish. I'm used to making new topics even if there is a very old similar one existing because I've only been ver active on two other forums and I left one.

I've played the game a bit (ie two screens) but never felt like actually beating. It's a tad too masochistic for my tastes. Still, that hasn't stopped me from being interested in the upcoming release of this similarly themed game.

That NES homebrew looks great. Too bad it is homebrew so some people will use savestates. I'll play it saveless though.

(Oh, and Stark has beaten this game. On Impossible.)

That is awesome.

IIRC, DKC uses SGI equipment for the graphics.

Also, dragonboy (), this isn't the slowest forum, activity wise. I know much worse places.

You joined too, TUK?

I joined June last year. Although I have generally been a member of this community since at least 2003. Proof?
Here's one of my posts from December 24, 2005 on one of the older versions of the board (Acmlm's Board).

Wow. Anyways, I'm going to go off to have a try at this.

Welcome Hat! I've been here one day and already like it here. What games do you hack?

I think the issue with SMWC is that many people there aren't capable of being helpful, even if they wanted to.

Also they are too picky. I've seen hacks get rejected for things that also were in Yoshi's Island like small graphical errors. Also i've never hacked Pokemon before, Hat. Sounds interesting.

I am trying to put together some clips I took with a screen recorder. I already looked at some tutorials on YouTube, but that was some days after my earphones stopped working. Right now I know how to insert clips, put in transitions, and title and ending. What I need to know is if I keep making clips with my screen recorder, will Movie Maker still chop them up?

Before you insert the clips go to where they are all located in WMM. Selcet all of them right click and press something like "combine".

I say it depends on the console. You can have perfect graphics, but I won't enjoy it if it has a bad control scheme.

My current SNES9x and ZSNES control configuration:

Control Pad - Arrow Keys
B - C
A - V
Y - X
X - B
L - A
R - S
Start - Control
Select - Enter

Now when I play SMW without that configuration... I fail. I really wish for the Wii VC you could set all keys to the keyboard if you have it plugged in. With some systems like N64 I prefer the real thing WAAAAAAY more.

I don't see how you can play with X and Y separated like that. It must make it a hassle to shoot fire/cape spin and carry an item at the same time.
Also, your L and R keys seem way off to the side.

Your control scheme is wacky.

I only use about three keys in SMW and there all set around the same area. I rarely ever use X, I use Y instead. Also A and S are convenient, I just extend my finger a bit.
