Alright, here for your playing pleasure, are my bosses. They grow more fun and well designed as it goes toward the bottom, but these are not my first bosses. I have made many more, most of which I have long since deleted. These are the latest and the best of them. Pictures generally show the bosses' first phase. So without further ado, here they are...

1: The Nuclear Core
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2375

This boss is my first great boss, and although I've made a lot by now, I'm really happy with this one. It goes through 5 phases over the course of the battle. It focuses mainly (read:entirely) on reflect rays, but I think I used them a couple interesting ways.

2: The Winged Demon
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2397

This boss has the same total health as the nuclear core, but only 3 phases. Over all though, it's got more attacks, and I like how it turned out. Again, the boss only uses reflect rays, which I seemed to like back then.

Extra: Custom Weapon Set
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2409
A .zip containing a few weapons I made while bored.

3: The Firestorm Reactor
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2410

Way back when, I thought this boss was difficult to make. Yeah, sure. I'm pretty happy with it though. The idea is an upgraded nuclear core. The boss patterns don't show this idea, though. The boss is in two forms, but they're very comprehensive forms, each with 4 attack patterns. All in all, a very fun boss. I think I made the most of the area fixed mode concept, as well.
I really love the super fast lasers.

FIGHT IT IN 640x480, AREA FIXED MODE

4: The Ultima Fortress
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2422

This boss. This is a very interesting boss. It took quite a bit of work to put together, and ultimately, I love the idea, but I don't think I did it proper justice. Maybe I'll upgrade it one day. Basically, you are in a moving corridor. The corridor is full of proximity activated weapons. When you reach the end, the core activates it's weaponry and the base is destroyed. Then you fight off the core. The core fight is pretty basic, although I put in some fairly good weapons for it. Anyway, have fun. Oh, and remember:

480x640, Area Fixed Mode.

5: The Overclocked Reactor
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2423

This is a fairly basic boss compared to the last one. I like some of the bullet patterns I used, and I tried to keep things interesting. This particular boss has 4 forms, and a very nice combination of effectors, if I do say so myself. Looks like a miniature star.

Fight it in 640x480, Area Fixed Mode. As usual.

6: The Harnessed Star
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2424

This boss is similar to the last one, in that it is four phases, simple in design, has an outer wall of 4 energy walls, and is to be fought in 640x480, Area Fixed Mode. The boss is slightly smaller in file size than the firestorm or overclocked reactor, but I cut a lot of corners with "include children: events. The boss uses some interesting ideas, and spend far longer in the polishing stage than most of my bosses, so I feel I got the difficulty near perfect.

To be fought in 640x480, Area Fixed Mode.

7: Dying Star
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2426

My bosses started to have become formulaic around here. Nothing particularly bad about that, it let me focus on the bullet patterns. This particular boss is my first to show it's health bar, which is very useful. As usual, the boss has 4 forms, and as per recently, makes use of quite a few different weapons in interesting ways. The screen shot, depicting it's opening attack, the Starstorm, is my favorite pattern from this boss. Again, I like the balancing on this boss. I tried to keep it fun and interesting, with a good level of difficulty without being unreasonable. All in all, a very good boss. It's one of my more popular ones.

As always, 640x480, area fixed mode.

8: The Atomica
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2431

WOW. This boss took a lot of work, and it was worth it. Great looking, powerful, long, and difficult. The Atomica has a file-size of a little under 70 kilobytes. The boss has six five forms, unlike some of my previous ones. It's very difficult at times, but I love what I've done with it. Beautiful boss. Fight it, and you will not be disappointed.

As always, 640x480, area fixed mode.

9: The Central Core
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2442

This boss is a bit less impressive than the Atomica, but represents an essential step in my development as a boss maker. This boss features quite a bit more brand new weaponry than previous ones, and I find it more visually impressive in some regards.

I think I may have created the most ridiculously over board explosion sequence ever. You'll see it when you win. It does utterly devastate the frame-rate though.

You'll notice the lack of looped effectors! This is handy for framerates. All in all, a fun boss. Less difficult than the Atomica.

Same settings as always.

10: The Armored Battle Core
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2446

This boss marks a huge advancement in my ability. I took advantage of tons of thing I haven't before, and made an interesting and fairly unique boss. I think the bullet patterns suffered a bit (mostly in quantity), but tomorrow's will probably work out better.

Area Fixed, 630x480, as always.

11: The Armored Station
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2447

Making the armored battle core may have been an interesting challenge, but the bullet patterns suffered. This boss has a bit of fancy even usage, but really, I cut back on this one. Pure bullet hell, just the way I like it. Even if my particular brand of bullet hell isn't generally too hellish.

Area Fixed, Same Old Resolution.

Long ago, there was a powerful magician of light. His name was Arcana.

12: The Great Shining Seal
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2456

This boss has eaten up hours and hours of my time these past few days. I am finally pleased with it. The boss goes though 8 forms/phases, 4 of which consist of a single super powerful attack I call a "Lost Art". This boss is truly my greatest boss. It is the culmination of the practice that has been these past two weeks. I'm incredibly happy with it, and I would highly recommend fighting it. It took me a full ten minutes to defeat. This boss will last a while.

This one has a story, which is not yet to be revealed. Incidentally, I have a sequel planned, but it probably won't be for a while. Gotta make some more simple bosses.
it's probably pretty hard to understand without knowledge of the story, but the boss is still fun.

Fight it with bright yellow bullets, in area fixed mode, 640x480

And now, the plot behind the Great Shining Seal is revealed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ozk-vKrJEU

I'm still not sure about the music that was used, but oh well.

13: The Atomica Warship
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2483

This boss has 5 main attack phases which it loops through repeatedly. As it takes damage, additional weapons start activating with each form. Near defeat, it changes forms for a far more simple but difficult attack pattern.

BEGIN COPY/PASTE FROM ELSEWHERE
360x480 (You'll have to edit the fraxy.cfg with notepad) Window x2 mode, Area fixed.
If you want to keep it in danmaku ship style, change the control scheme to keyboard 2, to disable the mouse during game play.
Finally, be sure to set the enemy appear position to "Fixed".
END COPY/PASTE FROM ELSEWHERE

14: SPECIAL: The Shift Fighters
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2509

An experimental fighter. It transforms between several drastically different attack styles.

Today, I decided that I would remake one of my oldest bosses, from long before I started posting bosses online. Long ago, I decided to make a fighter that transformed whenever it was defeated. This is a pretty basic idea, certainly, but it was fun to do. However, only the first two of 4 forms actually were fighters. After that it became a stationary core. So earlier today, I decided to remake the boss. I took the basic concept and expanded it. Creating four unique and interesting forms, each one a surprise, only one is stationary, and rather than simply being a core, It appears as a large turret. However, I decided to ese this chance to showcase my advancement. Included with the Shift Fighter V2, my newest boss, is the original Shift Fighter. Don't expect anything crazy. It was, however, my first experimentation with form changes. Which is odd, because with the possible exception of Arcana, none of my bosses go nearly as far with their transformations.

Pictured: The appearance of the V2.

This boss actually contains very specific references in two of it's forms.

I made a harder version of V2:
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2514

All attacks upgraded, and a new form. Not unlike Ebo's Matrix Habachi Death Label.

15: The Ancient Seal of Hell
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2534

After Extania fled, you located the gateway to his home. This powerful seal, designed not to contain, but to prevent entry, stands in your way.

This boss is fairly simple attack wise, if interesting to fight. It took a ton of parts to make the visual aspect, though. there's probably over a hundred searchlights in this thing. It's got 3 forms, each with a more extravagant searchlight arrangement than the last. This image is actually from an earlier stage in development. Since this time, chains holding the door shut have been added. Well, have fun.

BONUS: Bowserfan125's Weapon Armed Ship (Infected)
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2538

Oh hey guys, I made an infected boss. This was a little side project I did last night. Pretty fun boss, lot's of interesting weapons. Basically done because Aqua posted all those videos of terrible bosses, so why not fix one up?

16: The Security Core
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2547

A fairly fun boss fight, made some interesting attack patterns here. More in line with my earliest bosses, but with a level of quality they never had.

17: The Hellstorm Reactor
http://acmlm.kafuka.org/uploader/get.php?id=2562

This boss. Oh god. This boss. I've spent days working on this thing. Days. And now it's finally complete, for your playing pleasure. Is it better than Arcana? Depends on the category. Physical appearance? Yes. Attacks? Maybe. They're more advanced in design, anyway. The overall effects I used weren't as pronounced as in Arcana, but this boss is a masterpiece. I love it. And I'm glad it's finally out.

18: Extania, the Dark God
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyu90uW6WSU

Thanks to FireFox11 for the video.

Anyway, after almost a week of solid work, this boss is done. It's incredibly long, varied, and interesting, and I am incredibly happy with it. I'm not going to spoil anything. Either play it yourself or watch the video.

Boss #2: The Winged Demon
http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=2397

This boss has the same total health as the nuclear core, but only 3 phases. Over all though, it's got more attacks, and I like how it turned out. Again, the boss only uses reflect rays, which seem to have become my favorite weapon almost instantly.

Oh god Zero Squared. The Kirby fan in me is pleased, but I feel obligated to complain that you did not use 0^2's theme, but... I believe that's... Nightmare's? Yeah. Nightmare.

Okay, just noticed this topic, so here we gooooo....

My name on pretty much everything ever is one of the following: PureQuestion(here and compendium redux, among others), Pure-???, Puretay(youtube), or Tay[something](nothing I've used recently). I use mainly(read: only) the redux compendium, and yeah, I joined them recently. I've had Fraxy for a couple months, but I didn't use it for a big chunk in the middle of those 2-3 months. And that.... is that!

That would be great. I would appreciate that very much. Anyway, yes, unique design is probably my biggest strength.

I've got two new boss ideas going through my head, one would be more interesting, but far more difficult to produce. Think I might go for that.

OH CRAP. I was watching your video, and I realized what was going on with the camera. I had forgotten that rank affects thruster speed. The fortress was only designed to work on rank one.

GO right ahead. I enjoy watching people fight the bosses who didn't actually make it, to see how they fight it.

By the way, the reflect rays+off-screen energy walls is also in the over clocked reactor and harnessed star fights. With different reflect ray patterns, of course.

Global Variables seem to.. not work. They work fine in the editor, but in game, they don't seem to amount to anything.

Want to ask how something is done:

I've seen bosses with parts that try to line up with the player. It seems very distinct from simply being attached from the player, because A: It usually only lines up vertically or horizontally, and B: It generally drags along.
