Hi, I'm a frequent Super Mario World Musician, and it piqued my interest to see that the latest version of Lazy Shell now edits the music of Super Mario RPG. Unfortunately, as I was checking it out, I realized how frustrating editing the music is (Slightly better than Hyrule Magic's SPC editor, that's for sure.) I was wondering, do you think it would be possible to implement the program to read (possibly convert) MML and BNK format files? It would put more use to the songs like the 2000+ repository on the SMWCentral Music Page, and many other pages like it.

If you are interested, I am willing to assist any necessary conversions in terms of reading the MML/TXT format. You can contact me by e-mail at crispyyoshi@gmail.com.

Thanks for your time, and I hope implementing MML is taken into consideration!

Thanks for your consideration. imamelia also has a log of every single N-SPC command, which is listed here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9110994/list%20of%20music-related%20stuff.txt

I also recommend the same tutorial that Elementalpowerstar linked, because it covers the basics of MML.

... but again, if you need any additional help, I can provide assistance through e-mail/chat clients!
