I use Firefox with no extension at all...
Opera is nice, but it takes a little while to start up here, and it's loaded with useless junk and options (widgets and the likes...), and I'm not too fond of the menu... but it's still good. |

Awesome work, HH. I can't see how I could possibly release my editor before you, now. |

A better system (but a bit harder to implement) would be to increment a number, like Re[2]:, Re[3]:... Like some mail clients do. |

Great work GlitchCog.
I still haven't managed to find the time to even have a look at all this... As for my editor, it's still not much to look at for now. I implemented all the base classes (which import pointers from the ROM and stuff), and it can also use the Lunar Compress.dll file to directly extract tracks from the ROM, but that's it... I haven't started work on the graphic interface yet, and that's what's blocking me for now (I'm most likely going to use Visual C++ 2005 to build it). Only one month before deadline (I'm probably not going to implement AI support in the version I'm going to present at the university)... |

Random question: did you guys work on referencing this board at all ? There's still no way to easily find it on Google.
For the record, a fair load of ex members still don't know about this place. |

The advantage to ROM hacking over making a PC game is that you can play your game on a real console or on any machine that has an SNES emu... |

I just noticed you only see online users on the forum index (and on the "Online users" page, of course), but not inside of a forum, where you used to see who's on this specific forum. |

I disagree. I'd say the calendar is part of the "bells and whistles" we used to have, while what I brought up is an improvement/extension of something that already exists: it's a basic feature, although not essential. |

Drag: it's a bit pathetic how you're trying to defend/justify yourself, IMO. :\
Plus it makes you look complexed... A true sign of intelligence would have been to be above this. |

Posted by dirtbag That would actually be pointless. Reason: what's below the track is unicolor (the stars and stuff being on the upper part), which means that even if you could do it, you could get the exact same result by just using different color tones. |

Posted by dirtbag The only way it wouldn't be totally pointless is if you used the ghost pillars in the track (being the only objects that appear on the lower part of the track)... On the other hand, even if you managed to do it, I guess it would make the game lag, from what I've seen with excessive uses of transparency in SMW hacks... |

A nice little SMK editor got released a few days ago... It simply lets you change the probability of getting each item for each track theme, depending on your position and stuff.

Passwords being hashed, retrieval is technically impossible... However, getting it reset would work. |
