Back in 2005, I made a fake AIM to prank one of my friends, and typed in Chainlink (as a reference to one of Donkey Kong Country 2's castle levels), and typed in random numbers at the end.

I joined here with that name, just because. Not really sure why the first time, since that was over a year ago. And I joined now with it, because I was known as Chainlink on the other board.

Speaking of board, I'm staying at this one; the other one isn't as good.

I guess I'm 95% straight or something (I definitely wouldn't do anything sexual with another male, but I don't think anyone's 100% straight. You may think you are, but it's pretty much impossible, unless you've been raised in a female-only zone). I personally don't find males attractive, but I usually can tell which ones are sexually desirable to women, though. Hope that made sense.

Will post screenshots tomorrow some time, but may as well describe it:

My computer space is very unusual. In fact, I'm probably the only person on this forum who's in such a space.

As of early December, my computer space has been in the shed in our backyard. I'm serious. When you enter first the shed, you'll see a computer desk to your right, a TV next to the left of the computer desk, and a bunch of crap on the shelf above. Aside of a tiny bit of space in the center of the shed, the rest (left wall) is filled with countless boxes filled with random wires, and the basic stuff that I'll never have no use for. Aside from the occasional mosquito or spider, I love it out here.

I've got access to computer and internet whenever I desire. I've got a TV with game systems, so I can plug 'n' play any console I want. The temperature in here is mildly warm no matter what, even if it's cold outside. I've got the freedom to do whatever I desire -but unfortunately, it gets rather lonely out here.

The shed has been a game room since 2004 (take away the computer and the boxes, add a mattress), and during the summers, I even slept out here. In all, this is a wonderful computer area that anyone would be lucky to have. -And I'm proud to say that I'm the one who has it.

Will post screenshots tomorrow, possibly a vid to see the shed as if you're entering it.

On days I have school, I usually go to bed after 2:00am, and I usually fall asleep clear after 3:00am. I then wake up at 6:30am, so it's usually 3 1/2 hours of rest for me.

On weekends, I usually go to sleep really late, like 2:50 to 4:00. I wake up when I do so, which can range from 7:00 in the morning, to 1:00pm. Though, I once went to sleep after 4:00am, and woke up at 3:36pm the same day.

For breakfast, I had a bagel with cream cheese, and a glass of hot cocoa. It's rare for me to eat breakfast on a school day, let alone something other than cereal.

For lunch: I had a ham sandwich, a can of Coca-Cola, and a bag of Doritos chips.

I haven't ate dinner yet, since it's only 4:17pm.

Your school begins early enough that you have to be up at 6:30?

That's just torture.

My school actually begins at 8:15, but I have be there at 7:00 for a tutorial class. It takes me roughly 5 minutes to actually get out of bed , 10 minutes to get ready, and 10 from the house to my school. Then, it takes 5 minutes to walk to my classroom (it's on the clear end of the school, takes an estimated 1/3 mile), and I get to class right before the bell rings.

Post!

I've been online for 3 days straight (I haven't clicked off FireFox at all, so I'm already logged in no matter what).

The original Acmlm's Board?

I found it in early 2005 when Googling something along the lines of, "SMW help". I remember the boards were really serious and formal, so pretty much every post I read helped me greatly. Can't say the same now, though.

I live in Salinas, California. While there's tons of good, there's even more bad.

Pros:
-Not even a mile away is a store-hoard. Target, Circuit City, and tons of other stores in the same area.
-Salinas is considered the "Salad Bowl of the World"; over 80% of the lettuce grown in the United States is grown in the Salinas Valley. Nice to know we have fruits and vegetables in the case of an emergency.
-Weather is generally nice, but sometimes rainy. I like the rain, so I don't really have problems. Except when it's really cold...

Cons:
-Racism is all over the place. A lot of people don't express racism here, but you can tell there is some.
-Really bad voilent crime rate. Salinas also has many gang members.
-There's so much garbage everywhere, you'd think it was a city-based dumpster.
- 90% of adults can't drive well. 90% of adults are also rude.

My city has tons of great stuff to do, but they're spread in the strangest places. In addition, you better watch out; one of these days, you may get stabbed or shot.

When I first joined forums, I memorized the rules on each and every one, so I generally didn't act like a n00b. But on Acmlm's Board, there were tons and tons of rules, and I wasn't sure of what to do or what not to do.

So I posted bad ROM hacks, asked questions that were more-than-obvious, and probably spammed a little, with crappy, "Good job!" posts.

I've always been careful when it comes to grammar, so you won't see posts of mine that are hard to read/don't make sense. When I read posts with crappy misspellings and grammar problems, I feel like my IQ drops.

Luckily, I clicked the [X] right when it showed the black screen. Good to know that I didn't experience the screamer.

Here's some advice:

If you're gonna ditch, find out exactly where there are cameras around your camups, where the supervisors are at that specific time, and whether or not there are people who can inform adults that you're ditching.

The only time I ever ditched school was to buy Diddy Kong Racing DS, and that was because we were watching a movie in History (that was boring). I walked out of the classroom, hopped the fence, and walked a mile down the road to Target. I got DKRDS, walked back to school, and hopped the same fence again. It was lunch time, I had DKRDS, and I never got caught. But it was totally worth it.

Though the whole time I ditched, literally, my heart was beating really fast and the slightest thing scared me.

In all: Don't ditch. Even if something looks tempting (like the movie you saw, and DKRDS for me).

Omgea: Assuming you're under the proper age, how did you see 300 without any adults? Did you sneak into that, too?

I don't visit that often either. I'm a lurk-poster. I lurk around a lot until I find topics I like, then I post in them.

Me too, but that usually only counts for this board. Having the ability to post without logging in is really efficient; comes in handy for typing quick responces like this...

I use both regularly, but I like using Speakers when I'm using the computer. But even then, they're on low volume.

I use headphones when I'm listening to my iPod, which is possibly 4 hours a day.

Usually the rather large headphones (such as ones for gaming) provide excellent quality. I bought $30.00 headphones a in June or July, and they still work in both ears. I use them all the time; when I'm bored at home, in car rides, at school around campus, and even when I'm sleeping/laying down. Here's the good points of these types of headphones:

-Excellent quality, like a miniature stereo on your ears
-Very sturdy and hard to break
-Long life, no matter what (unless you cut the wire or something
-Convenient (would you rather pay 10 bucks for crap headphones every month, or 30 for good ones that last a year?)

It doesn't matter which company, as long as they're large, good, and comfortable.
