Can you guess? Of course the real thing! I'd rather play my real Game Boy Color, Advance, N64, SNES, Genesis/Mega Drive...you name it. Emulation really is just never as good as the real deal.

It just seems better somehow to play it on your real, working console, haha.

Blowing into your cartridges was never recommended anyway or a good way to treat the cartridge. Better to use the rubbing alcohol + cotton swab thing anyway, which is how all my N64 carts work at first insert now.

Also I have a USB controller (no analog sticks so I only use it for SNES or earlier, or GBA/DS or earlier) but I still prefer a real system, since you can't get things like the Super Game Boy emulated on the PC fully. (That was one of Nintendo's strokes of true genius. Borders, colors, extra sound core.)

As for my control setup for the keyboard, it's the VBA one edited to fit the context depending on the system I wish to play. (Except Z = A and X = B, not the other way around, and L and R are always A and S if the system has such buttons.)

If I want N64, then the C buttons are Home Delete End Page Down, for SNES, C = X V = Y, for Genesis C = C, 6 button Genesis A S D = X Y Z.

And both of the GameCubes I have don't have DREs. Both the first one I have which is Platinum and the backup one I bought for 7 dollars at a thrift store (Jet Black) work just fine.
