Disassembling? I'd be willing to help with that.
EDIT: guh, hit submit too early I'd be willing to write a program to disassemble SMW as much as possible, if you guys wanted me to I wouldn't be willing to label/comment *verything*on my own, though. Probably moonedit could be used for that or someting. |

moonedit: not that I know of. I'll also start an ME server if nobody else has one they're willing to put forward.
Anyways, for the program, I'll look into coding it tonight after homework () and if there is a .me file size limit, then just split the disassembly into parts, edit them separately, and then rejoin them together when done. The other option is an SNES9X debugger trace, I'd be willing to do that for faster result, but with more turnaround for removing unwanted crud from lines and labelling still, likely faster overall Who's in? yeah- you're not unloading all your forms. when you form.hide, it doesn't unload it from memory, so when you unload the other forms, that one stays in memoery, and thus the application doesn't close. In whichever forms is forced to close last, unload all other forms. |

Yeah, "End" works, but that wont' allow any Form_Unload(Cancel as Integer) subroutine to be called |

Posted by HyperHacker Actually, I believe it was the large silver text, but yes you're right. Also: AFAIK VRAM *can* be accessed, but it might cause graphical corruption mid-render as teh GFX for an object change as it's being drawn. Not fun One good place to upload sprites woudl be during NMI |

I think that SMK actually uses one GFX mode for the Background/etc., and mode 7 for the ground. |

Looks good so far, but the pipe and castle need their borders removed and to be brightened; they clash too much with the rest of the OW. |

Why not put the pyramids on layer 2, but set it's horizontal/vertical scroll to constant? HDMA can be coded to account for vertical scroll, though it is a little harder than just non-vertical HDMA |

Posted by Sonicandfails Actually, according to the documentation my decompressor was based off of, there are 7 different kinds of compression, yes, but they do not compress each other, rather, one or another will be used to compress a section of data in a larger file, for example: bytes 0 to 4 might be stored as uncompressed, whereas bytes 5 to 9 might be compressed via LZ-copy |

This is stupid. This bloody Netsentron software completely blocks just about everything on the internet. It wasn't *too* bad, but now .zip and .rar files are block too!
So, my question is; does anyone know how to disable this shit? It's, well, Spoiler: Fucking Annoying |
