Dunno, but try fusoya.panicus.org, he compiled a version of Geiger's SNES9X debugger with SuperFX Tracing enabled.

You're talking about a 4D sphere, measuring it's Diameter in a 3D cube as you would measure a 3D circle in a 2D line.

Eh, the only way You're gonna get vb6 is to either buy visual studio 6 (if you can) or find... other ways of getting it.

I though there was a sort of posts/page querystring parameter like ppp=x or whatver that would let someone control the number of posts to show in thread.php / forum.php. What was it, or is it not available right now?

Well specifically I was asking about URLs, not the profiles one.

For something I'm writing, it downloads forum.php?time=x via HTTP request and scans for certain threads, but, if you're not logged in or your threadsw/page is too low, it doesn't work right since not all the threads are displayed

sometimes, when I use the internet Transfer Control to try and download a web page, it cuts off after a small portion of the page, and other times it works fine.

Thsi is the code:

WorkingString = Internet.OpenURL("http://acmlm.no-ip.org/board/forum.php?time=" + _
Right(Str(A), Len(Str(A)) - 1), icString)
While Internet.StillExecuting = True
DoEvents
Wend
WorkingString = WorkingString + Internet.GetChunk(1024& * 1024&, icString)

Internet is a Microsoft Internet Transfel Control (MSINET.OCX), and is just amed Internet.

Interestingly, if you move point 16 on Koopa Beach 1 down 4 X points, the CPUs will almost always take the bottom path. If you switch 15 and this 16, the CPus will drive to 15, then to 16, then to the nearest next point, 17 or 18. Ninetales and I fiddled aroud to find this out.

Hm, Don't sprites above $C-Something have their sprite data stored in a second sprite table from the first set of sprites? It would be nice to be able to find and disassemble this sprite's code in order to figure out how it changes level mode mid-level.

My question is, does anyone know the location of the second sprite data table?

Hm. for the Exit settings, that might be explained by the initial horizontal setting, and the fact that after you hit the vertical section, the screen number horizontally never changes.

The sprite interaction could possibly be explained by the horizontal setting, and not changing from that to vertical

Interrobangs are amazing.

But where do the batteries go?! (anyone who doesn't understand needs to play Time Splitters)

I own timesplitters 2 / Future perfect, and I *still* don't get this

AFAIK, the garbage is caused by the horizontal layer 2 tilemap not being 32 tiles tall, and thus when it's scrolled, the garbage shows up.

Or you could place the entrances/exits on different screens and have then link to each other

Also, Mario20he Lunar Magic help file is really, uh, helpful with solutions to a lot of basic things, so be sure to check it

Sounds to me like a virus problem...

Can you load programs after booting into safe mode?

You've obviously never used 98 then. That would bluescreen if you breathed on it too hard.

Windows XP!? That explains everything right there. The best choice you have is to install Windows 2000 or at least in my own experience, Vista. Both of those are rock-solid when it comes to stability!

XP was the most BSOD ridden piece of garbage I ever had the misfortune of just knowing it's existance.

Whoa, why the Hate-on? I've used all kinds of windows, and there were really only two BSODs I evefr got:

WinXP: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA stemming from a cooling problem. Replaced some fans and the PSU (Faulty Unit!), no BSODs since

Win98: Disk write error to C:/ - bad sectors on the HD. Scandisk + 1 hour = no BSODs.

but once ported (or during porting), you could just fix that part up whilst directly porting some of the better-coded parts of SMW.

I would be willing to help out with this, if I could. I'm not exactly great wtih C++. but I should know enough to deal with things such as sprite code or loading a level, for example. Just, nothing sond/GFX related for now
