One thing I note is that Gau's SPC700 document makes no reference at all (from what I can see) to how the sample table (sample start, loop start addresses) is constructed- and the only reference to it is the High-byte-of-address register Are there any good documents on it besides possibly the SNES dev manuals form Nintendo? |

Java, Javascript, it could be done.
And it'd be very interesting, as well. One nice possibility is integration with ROM hacking and the uploader, e.g. Thread:xxxxx might create a thread < |

...I tripped over a Paper Mario N64 cartridge once when it was hooked up to a Gameshark... Snapped the PCB connector right off. |

So, has anyone else played Lock's Quest? It's an interesting game. The premise of the game is that you play as Lock, an Archineer in the Kingdom of Antonia, a few years after 'The Great War,' in which the Kingdom's greatest Archineer went rogue and created an entire clockwork army and with it almost destroyed the Kingdom.
The goal is to build defenses similar to a Tower Defense game, and attempt to protect a person or object for a set time, or destroy some objective (e.g. a boss), or sometimes both. Basically, you're able to build Turrets (on walls), wall sections, traps, and 'helpers' which give a bonus of sorts to turrets (and sometimes walls). The game starts off rather simple, and gets very complex and engaging as time goes on. The other big thing is that during 'battle phase,' you don't just sit and watch the defenses go at it- in order to win any battles, you have to maintain your defenses as well as attack your agressors. All in all, I found it was a fun game with a good story, and hope to see a sequel some time. It's not just a 'spam as many turrets as possible' game either, since they'd get destroyed very quickly. |
