We were allowed to play games, but only the ones that come built into Windows like solitaire and pinball. And only in computer class after you're done with your assignment, not in the library. We all got in huge trouble in one class for playing Snood constantly, they made it so that Snood shuts down after a few seconds if you tried to play it.


heh. I keep a bunch of games on my external HD now, along with programs like WinAMP, Firefox, and mIRC (though mIRC doens't work on the school network).

Scrapped, FPFS, and Splode are on it now (yay for Digipen(, and I'ma put openTTD on it I think

Yes, there are some colour problems. Trip, thet's just a little detail that's insanely easy to miss, Try checking the palettes of the paths and fixing them to be the same, or just change their palette entries

Apparently, that Meter controls how much time you have left in 3D before you are forced to go back to 2D, unless you go back earlier by yourself.

Hardware-wise, the Accumulator can only go up to 65535, yes. However, there is a carry flag, and if coded correctly, the 65c816 chip could handle, say, a 128-bit number, though as you might images that's be slow. Basically, for any number over 65535, there is ASM that is involved in the math.

Luckily, for most multiply/divides where one number is 16-bit and the other 8-bit, you can use the math coprocessor. otherwise, yeah, the performance hit could be quite high.
