Quite an interesting story, however there are several points at which it can be contested, since this seems to be a cross debate/story.
First off, I can point out that the 'faith' of the Professor in fact having a brain can be empirically proven through multiple methods- MRI, Autopsy (with preceeding murder), the assumption that A) The professor is human (confirmable via DNA) and that B) Humans have brains (Already proven empirically). Second, one must ask who in fact wrote this- you note that it is not your own work, but fail to credit this to the actual author- The author argues in favour of faith, and then we are asked to have faith in the impartiality of the author. I like the use of False Dilemmas in the story too- the fact that "Satan came from God" meaning either god is evil or satan is good is one, so is the assumption of faith in the professor's brain existing. "This students statements are true, can you or can you not make night darker?" This depends entirely on what you interpret darkness to mean. "Is it possible for it to get colder after absolute zero -458 degree's F. " Within my understanding of particle physics, it is a theoretical impossibility- that is, under the current theory, it can't happen. What if the theory is wrong though? "Oh? Did you inherit?" The Pauper and the Prince are irrelevant; we are all given the choice, we and only we can choose to grasp our Wisdom. |

It's not meant to be debate I suppose, but in all honestly it serves both purposes. |

I think this might have been better put into the Town Square thread |

Yep, they're movable. Thing is, you can't build one setup with that kind of system to work on every screen- so we designed it to work on as many screens as possible. |

Probably Inkscape, if you want SVG. Otherwise, Fireworks CS3 trial would work, photoshop might (don't use it myself), or probably a half dozen other programs that I don't know about. |

...This honestly makes me think of Garrys mod, since that's exactly the kind of thing people can build.
Well, minus the shooting oneself and causing actual harm part. Not a fun way to go, though :/ |

The harder part was just debugging it and documenting all the RAM that was used. They'd be easier to make now that I know what the various RAM addresses actually do.
Also, I could probably do a full-square autoscroller fairly easily. |

Nice to see you around again, Nick.
I usually sleep whenever, but as far as the usual goes, I get up around 5:10 AM, and I'm usually up until 10-11PM, sometimes later. Probably explains why I'm always so damned tired. |

The current Board2Base compilation is available HereOkay, so in the spirit of Goonbase, here's something else to do: The rules are fairly simple: Using a 130x50px PNG image, create one room of the board, with whatever you think board2 needs. The room has a 3-pixel buffer around it, with doorways / etc as needed. Later We'll start letting in larger images, but for now 130x50px will let us get a good start in. All 'room's need to have at least two exits, and must connect to the room they are created off of (again, this may change later). Anything goes for room content so long as it doesn't violate board2 rules or common sense. Files should preferably be named according to their position, e.g. the starting image below is 0_0.png and one directly right of it would be 0_1.png, one directly below would be 1_0.png, etc. Also, please post the room number, e.g. mine is 0_0, and Lynche's first image is 0_1. With that said, let's start! This is 0_0 And here's a base 'room' you can use for starting if you so wish. |

-1_0 would be directly above 0_0, as Y increases as you go down |
