Working fine here, though YT was down earlier.

It's probably just internet/DNS issues they're having.

Well, between me, Tyty, and Stark, the song count has prettymuch tripled . A lot more genres on there now, and all of it's quite nice.

EDIT: Oh, aoi (d'oh). Aoi has a bit of a history of going down every once and a while, if that happens you can usually get online with one of the other servers:

Aoi
Midori
Kuroi
Murasaki

..okay, first off, you should NEVER put ANYTHING in /Windows/. NEVER!

Second, where are the .txt files?

Stick Addmusic, all the files that came with it, the SMW ROM you are using, and copy Command Prompt (cmd.exe) from C: /windows/system 32 into the same directory (folder)

Poorly worded. It means put those files into the folder for the SMW rom, not /system32/

I seem to remember having difficulties with that. Anyways, what I found worked was creating both stars/pipes, then with one star setting the exit index, but leaving the destination index alone. Then I'd go to the other star, set both indices, then finally fix the first star, not sure if that'll help you.

Copied from the LM Help manual:
Rather than get into a long explanation of the coordinates and how the dialog links the two tiles, just carefully follow this procedure to re-link any two star and/or pipe tiles: (Just make sure to sort out which two indexes you're going to use ahead of time.)

· Select the first tile, and enter this dialog. For the Exit index to use, select the first index you're going to use. Set the Destination exit index to "No Setting". Hit ok.
· Select the second tile, and enter this dialog. For the Exit index to use, select the second index you're going to use (must be different than the one you used for the first tile). Set the Destination exit index to the first index you’re using (the same one you set for the first tile). Hit ok.

· Select the first tile again, and enter this dialog. You can now set the Destination exit index to the second index you're using. Hit ok.

And that's it. The two tiles should now be re-linked to one another.

Either the SMWC version is corrupted or whatever is decompressing it isn't working.

Try downloading directly from fusoya's site (don't have a link on hand, try google)

In that case, I'd be wondering exactly what is wrong with your operating system, since that message would imply that either LM is being modified, or XP is compromised.
