haha, you're a funny guy. Seriously though- the reason you're having problems is that your computer is just too old, and Win98 just doesn't have what it takes to run addmusic. |

Preferably one, but two or three would be okay if it's only one category |

Okay, that's enough. First off DSM, your post is entirely unnessesary, and completely backwards. One of the reasons this board is small is because our staff is almost nonexistant. Secondly, you don't need to be an ass to KP9000 for no reason. MoN, Arbe is trying to be productive. He's raised valid points, and is not trying to 'stir up shit' but start action on refreshing the Board2 staff. Now, can we please stop niggling at each other and start thinking about who and where we could use staff? I'm of the opinion that your opinions can be as helpful as those of staff. |

look, like it or not what you said was inflammatory and you know it. Now, can we please drop this, because if this shit keeps up S/A/O is going to get a few new posts. |

This is going to be very awesome when it is done. Kudos on a well-designed previewer setup, it's definitely going to be very useful. I can't wait to see this finished! |

Or, you know, you could just come back here and check. Sorry, but nobody here is actually going to email you just so you can avoid having to put the effort into checking to see when the link is fixed. Also, please fix your grammar/spelling; AOL-speak isn't proper English. |

Well, one option you have is to take out the hard drive and connect it into a computer that does have internet, and download the ISO that way. Another option is to just get a new CD-ROM drive, since CD-ROM drives use standard generic drivers
To be sure, check the CD-ROM drive in device manager. if it says it's working fine, the drive can't read properly. If it's missing, the drive isn't connected properly. If there's a problem, then it should be self-explanatory. |

Anyone with LM is supposed to be a staff member, and act with the responsibilities of one, regardless. |

okay, in the back of the CD-ROM unit, there will usually be 2 or three cables. First off is the power cable, this has -four- thick wires connected to it, red, yellow, black, and another black. Secondly, there's a wide, tape-like cable, this connects the drive to the motherboard, you need to make sure it's seated correctly at both (possibly all three for some setups) ends. Lastly, sometimes there's a tiny cable that runs to the sound card. At this point, said cable is irrelevant. |

If you have a wireless router, a good wireless card is probably all you need, assuming your CD-ROM drive is working properly again. I'd recommend D-Link's wireless card line, myself. |

Daymn, that looks really good. The only gripe I have is that the water really needs to be fixed, it doesn't fit in as well as it could. |

Either a bad HD, or your BIOS simply isn't reading it correctly. Does windows say it's 31.4 GBytes, and did only one drive letter show up? |

hm, you could have a layer 2 background there. You'd have to turn off layer 2 vertical scrolling, but you could do it with HDMA, and a little clever BG design. Case in point:
first, in LM:
the *, & designates a BG image, and teh text, your title. Using HDMA, you rearrange it as such on screen:
Set the positions with vertical layer 2 HDMA, Set the scroll with horizontal L2 HDMA, where the text has no scroll and the background has normal scroll. |

eh, sort through the fluff and w3schools is okay enough as a starting point. Generally, you don't need to know nearly as many terms as there are out there, which is nice. The general rule I use is:
AJAX = changing web pages without reloading the whole thing (think (i)frames) PHP/ASP/etc = Web server stuff, for a small example showing the current server time SQL/MySQL = databases X(HT)ML = Stupidity |
