You mean show how they'd act at higher skill levels? In the save/load toolbar, at the bottom. Use that.

Nightkev...

Also, that sucks. IF you still have the drive, take it to a pro's shop; they might be able to help.

I had a bent pin on an HD once, I know the initial feeling (I was actually able to repair it), and I also know what it's like to lose a lot of stuff like that; it happened once with a corrupted hard drive (COTMK 1 barely survived that incident ).

I feel for you

Oh, I saw that.

I was talking about making them smarter from the get-go.

Like maybe spin around instead of use the front gun (even if the front guns have been shot off)

My best help would be to change the core or mount everything on a Panel_Rolling part or something . Really, there needs to be a simple scripting language for ships along the lines of

if (Part(Index).Durability==0) { //If the front gun mount is destroyed (and thus the whole front gun)
PartGroup(AnotherIndex).Play=0; //Turn on the rear gun.
}

That above, IMO, would be brilliant for Fraxy bosses. Of course, for the above, you'd need to be able to group parts

another example:

if (BossLife>=500) { //when the boss has been around for 500 frames
Part(Index).Play=0; //RELEASE THE FIGHTERS
}

Above, a deploy core is turned on (that's the part I used in the example)

You can't. Instead, try this:

small core (play:stop, 1 durability). child the rolling panel to that, and your big nice-looking core to that. add parts and boosters so it's not dead in the water figuratively, and enjoy.

Dunno, after all the weapon fire is just stored as an alpha mask, really.

Um, it was a piece of cake. All you need to do is concentrate on one laser at a time, and when they fire, move away slightly and just wait. The lasers don't do nearly enough damage to kill if you just sit there without firing/moving

I remember we tried this is #rohmacking. Nobody ended up being able to find the time, unfortunately :/

I still have the OW and whatever from it. Anyways, I'm in this time too. Dibs on a high-up floor in the tower.

all the routien does is in the specific game mode, it loads sprite data in the OAM mirror. Then it switches to a 'do nothing but wait' mode. After, it must clear OAM at some point. I never worked on the routine that would have handled that, however.

It's actually pretty easy All you need to do is change one subroutine to a JSL...RTS, and you can change the graphics to whatever you want

Wow, nice.

Kinda takes away my inspiration to work on blocktool omega, though. (old project I still putter at that was a replacement to BT)

I saw the title and got my hopes up. I was hoping it would have a defining new feature, but I don't see anything to be too excited about.

Now if someone were to make an inserter with one of the following features, THEN I would be excited:
1. Allowing custom code to be triggered in a different way - not just Above, Below, Sides, etc. I know there's a patch by Fu that allows people to call in custom code when Mario is touching the corners of a block or when Big Mario's stomach is touching a block. Unfortunately there's no tool that takes advantage.
2. Having .asm files as input, so more advanced blocks could be more easily created/modified. Tweaking reloc offsets every time I make a change keeps me from writing more blocks.

Link me ot that ptch if you can please!

If BTLite doesnt support .asm, then that gives me more reason to work on BT omega

Okay, thanks MikeyK.

Anyways, name any offset and I'll provide support for it. Interestingly enough, the data table format as-is already contained entries in each block for the data that isn't already set out, so it's really easy to add a whole other function like corners to a block.
