I was robbed the other day...sorta. When I think about a robbery, I don't think about what happened to me. You see, it was another day at work, sometime in the afternoon. Two guys in their twenties enter my store, wanting to return a Ps3 system, the games that he had bought and a controller: all were open. Store policy states that if someone wants to return a new item, it cannot be open. If it is defective, then they have to get the same item. And its not like I had $800+ in my resister to give him anyway. While this is going on, the guy's friend keeps saying that its bullshit and that it should be written somewhere. Hey guess what? Its on the damn receipt. I called my DM, who agreed with me and they started to get prissy. Since we weren't going to give them their money back (oh, by the way, after I told him that he couldn't return it unless it was defective, he mentions that it is, that is overheating) his friend starts to grab a box of Magic cards and says, "I'm going to bling these". Are you fucking serious!!! Its not my fault that I have to follow policy and, well, I really don't care if they were telling the truth or not about the system. If its not working, then you get the same item in return. It doesn't warrant for you to steal Magic cards, thats just pathetic. I mean, come on, using a corny line and the only thing you take is a box of freaking cards?!

We normally have at least two cop cars in the parking lot...as long as nothing else is going on. Of course they weren't there that day and when I called them, they were a bit upset that they're weren't. It wasn't really b/c they stole magic cards, its the principle, really. I highly doubt that they'll get caught, but we do have the serial number of the Ps3, so if it pops up somewhere...

It started yesterday afternoon with my eye feeling a bit...odd. Like a small bruise if you will. I looked in the mirror at around 3:30 and I noticed that the lid was starting to puff up in the corner (this is happening to my left eye). Since I didn't feel like being at work anyway (our a/c is still out), I went home. After coming home, my hubby and I went out to eat and then stopped off at a few stores. I think noticed it was getting a bit puffier. So we head to the pharmacy and the man tells me to get some cream to rub on the eye lid. I wake up, and its still there. It looks like right above the eye and the eye lid are puffy. And it likes to twitch a bit. So I went to web MD, and they mention that it could just be a bacterial infection or a allergic reaction. I might stop by my friend's house, since he mentioned having something like this about a month ago.

My friends are gonna kill me, but one of my game advisors wanted to try out for the "Wanna be a Tokyo anime fair reporter?" contest. She and her boyfriend shot the video in my store, thankfully when I wasn't there. Actually, most of my staff was there save for myself and my third key. There's another guy in the video who hid away that you cannot see until the very end.

Just wanted to share this with you guys.

Yes, I was alone atm, so I didn't want to do anything silly, especially since it wasn't worth it. Funny...if it was 15 minutes later, my third key would have been there and he's been to Iraq twice and the type to jump over the counter and kick their ass. I would have liked to have seen that.
