Its been raining...not enough to help with the drought, but at least its something. Its been a bit hot as well.

Thoughts? Its been about two days since the beta went live. Tonight was my first night playing, and since I'm not that good at Halo (hopefully this'll change) I'm having a lot of fun thus far. All I've been doing is playing with the guys from work.


BTW, any tips on how to get better at Halo? I've been playing the campaign on Halo 2 off and on to practice.

I really suck at Halo. I just started to play it about two months ago. I'm a bit nervous playing against other people, but I want to get better at the game, and I guess that's the only way. I don't mind playing against people I know, b/c we're all just having fun and I don't care if I only get 2-6 kills.

Scratch that..22 kills.

Yeah, but it's too bad they replaced the awesome sound effect from H1 with the poopy H2 SMG sound.

I got the beta too. I still prefer Gears of War online to any of the Halos, but it's still fairly enjoyable.

I've been playing the beta off and on since it was released, I've been having fun with it (even though my friends all stink so my rank in Team Slayer is still only 1... lol). If any Acmlmers want to play with me sometime, my gamertag is Zylan. I still play Halo 2 when I'm in the mood as well.

My stats page. Nothing special really, I just like to show off that even though my ranks suck I still usually have the most kills/points in the match.

OMG......my 10 year reunion is coming up next year. Heh, it doesn't feel that long ago, but at the same time it does....

So in a few days I head over to my bother-in-law's. He's a good player at guitar hero. So am I, well, at least I hope I am. So here comes my hubby, instigating that I'm going to beat him when we go up there. Now that he's trashed talk for me, I need to practice and I have about three days to do so. I have improved in GH, but not to the point where I can beat songs with 5 stars on hard. Most of them are 3 and I'm actually stuck on a few. Urg, I kinda wished that he didn't trash talk for me, but then again, I am beating his brother on my friend's leader board...and to trash talk a bit more, HEY NICK: looked at the boards recently? *ahem* So anyway, with a few days left and me still being modest, I need to practice hard, because the hell I'm gonna go down that easily.

Anyone here trash talk when it comes with friends/family and games?

I've done that before. There are times when I sneeze and its extremely loud and sometimes high pitched. Thankfully its not all the time.

My biggest problem right now is to either play the Halo 3 beta or practice in Guitar Hero. But then again, I really want to play City of Heroes, but with the lack of memory, its a real pain in the ass. FF12 needs to be finished and God of War II needs to be started. I'm stuck in a trail on Phoenix Wright, stuck on a level on Yoshi's Island, in the middle of playing FF6 (again) and I need to buy new shoes in Oblivion, I sold them by accident.

As you can see, I can go on. I play a lot. But I also get out, when I have the money. Like Thursday night, we're going to see PotC, so I'm glad that I don't have to wait until midnight to see it. It'll also be the start of my vacation and after working x-amount of days in a row, getting my store ready for while I am gone, I really need it. Hopefully I can finish the Darth Bane book that I have been meaning to read and finish up Chapter One of my project while I am gone. The nephews will most likely have either Pokemon D or P, so I can play that with them while I am there.

So in closing, its all about managing your time and multi-tasking.
