I'm still very much a newbie at making these things, but I've tried my best.



Cross Boss: While technically my first creation... this has gone through a lot of revisions sense I started it.



R-Type: An attempt at a ship similar to R-Type. Tried to make it somewhat astheticly pleasing.



Fighter Team: Three bosses that work in tandem. One tanks and blocks your shots with a Barrier, the other is a quick, agile Needlegun/Homing laser user, and the last one hangs back shooting missles and bullets at you.



Unnamed: I havn't thought of a name for this boss. It was the first time I tried messing around with Extra Paramaters. An energy egg sits on top of the core and spews about 8 homing lasers in a somewhat pretty pattern.



Gun Force: More playing around with Extra Paramaters. I try something a little diffrent here. Mainly in that the core is the only damagable spot in the ship.

Comments on the ships?

And now the questions.

1: What are the diffrences between the player ships aside from Energy/Regen rate? What does everyone here use? (Oh, I know their weapons differ too. Did a test with that... Intresting fact in that the Attacker actually has the WEAKEST Bullet when fully upgraded.)

2: Do you think a full fledged 'Seven Force' would be possible? Sure you can make each of his forms, but could you link them together in a single fight?

3: Where do you guys upload your ships? I'll probually start uploading them if there's a decent place to and if people actually want to fight my crappy things.

I would personally like to see some controller support. I've got an idea of making it easier to control on mine, but I can't do it with Joy2key. (Also taking an idea from Radiant Silvergun and mapping each of the weapons to each button so you can easily switch between them.)

I think you can already do that. See the config file, under Input.


Yeah I know how to do it, but it doesn't work as well with a keyboard/mouse.

The idea of this boss is at 25% health, a part of it detatches and becomes it's own core that attacks the player. I'm still trying to figure out how to do some things... so how would I do this?

Great suggestions all.

As an aside, I got the idea to change patterns the same way as this.

Next question: How do you pull off 'multi-form' bosses? The verious methods I tried didn't work very well.

I kind of borrowed the wings from one of the downloads on the Wiki, but the rest is my doing. As of right now, I think the bullet patterns are a bit dull and am thinking of ways to spice it up a bit.

Please play it in Fixed area mode and fixed spawn.
