HMs aren't truly necessary anywhere in Unova. They just make things more convenient.
Surf is only necessary to go to Rt17, Rt18, and the P2 Laboratory. |

I would if I had a Castform, but I don't. I don't have access to my second DS to transfer one to either game, so I can't even get one from any of the older games.
I would suggest the GTS, but it opperates based on your game's Seen completion. Since you can neither search for National Pokemon without your Nationaldex, nor find Castform in Unova, anywhere... You're stuck without it. |

To be honest with you, I think this project is all but dead in the water.
Especially since you had to bump this thread by just shy of seven months. None of the guys have really been around here since then. I'm not sure if you'll get a response that will help you. |

Save files won't really do much good since most games that keep track of a score, do so from a fresh start. At least NES and SNES did.
A few months ago, the guys over at Countyline Gaming were having weekly challenges for completion and score within a time limit. There were no prizes involved, but it was just fun for the members. Each contestant recorded a video, and posted it to their favorite video site and either linked to, or embedded their video. Just putting that out there. |

Posted by GreyMaria You would be correct. I use SNES9X for my SNES let's plays, and use the movie function built in. Though, as a tip... It's best to record as an emulator movie first, then record the playback with the AVI recorder using a lossless codec for better quality, and overall gameplay safety. Recording AVI and playing simultaneously only causes problems. |

Well, Kaypea, you'd lose not just a sizable chunk of the userbase, but a good chunk of staff from the athests being "taken." You'd lose, at least, me, Kawa, and bh (if I'm not mistaken, I could be, I dunno).
As for the American government, who gives a shit about that, anyway? They're all a buncha numpnut retards. If I had to guess, Kawa, I'd say the most ironic place for us to wind up in would be... The Christian heaven, just to spite us for our disbelief just before exiling us to Hell. |

As much as it fucks with my head to agree with Flan, I'm gonna have to say he's right.
Especially if Nintendo is gonna enforce its claim in the 3DS EULA to brick homebrewers, and isn't just blowing smoke up our asses. Can't really speak for Sony and the PSP, since I couldn't give a shit less about it. Just Saiyan. |
