tl:dr Someone set up us a fake bomb.
GREATEST THING EVER JUST HAPPENED! I was taking a nap earlier, and was about to wake myself up, when my roommate pretty much busted my bedroom door down and flipped on the light and said, "GET YOUR ASS UP AND DRESSED! WE GOTTA EVACUATE THE BUILDING!" So I got up real quick and threw on a shirt since I was sleeping in my jeans, got my boots on and gathered my shit as if I was just going down to go somewhere. No sooner did we hit the first floor did we see crime scene tape outside or our building that stretched the length of the building and across the street to Dollar Bank across the street. We were told to head into the parking lot between buildings to make sure we were out of the BLAST ZONE!!! We spent about a half hour outside before they called us all into a huddle in the middle of the parking lot and told us it was a false alarm bomb sighting because of an unmarked package set in front of either our building or the bank. |

That's pretty interesting Marzen, I kinda want to know how Pennsylvania ranks on that. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it was middle to low end because of all the old people here. |

I was sitting in my Public Speaking class this morning and my teacher was going around, asking about what our demonstrative speech topic would be. When she got to my friend (who preferred I posted this using his board name) VincentAzerite, she asked him what he was doing and asked him what he was good at, he replied with "Music" and I decided to be a smart ass and say, "Oh yeah, play Flight of the Bumble Bee on a piccolo." He just glared at me because he's a big guy with honkin' meaty fingers that are far too big to play the tiny instrument.

Y'know, I've been been asking most everyone in IRC lately about a few things. I think I realize now why I got voted Best Newbie.
Well, guys, I just have to say that I wouldn't strive to be the member I am if it wasn't for you guys taking me in so quickly when I joined back in July. I'm glad I found this board, because no matter what anyone says, the community here kicks some major ass. I know it's a bit late to make this realization, but hey, I'm not exactly the brightest crayon in the box sometimes. |
