Ya, the outfit is very cute.. The tail and ears are a bit iffy though, can't quite place the problem I'm seeing with them either but they just don't seem right on her.. Good job on it in any case though.

Because knowing Blizz's recent history it'll be one of the three:

1) Nothing like the previous games, and craptacular at the same time (Warcraft III, WoW)
2) The same game with slightly better graphics.

Then again, the nukes in SC2 look like firecrackers. NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED is more threatening than the damn actual nuke is. They don't deserve to be called Nukes.

Give me Supcom Nukes anyday.

Blizzard hasn't made anything original since the nineties. They create interesting universes, but they need to actually create something new rather than whoring out all their old games. Again. I want to like Blizzard, they did interesting stuff back in the nineties but they give me no reason to like them nowadays.

What are you even talking about?

WoW's original Dev team left very early on, it is widely believed that the game was going to go in a completely different direction before that happened.. Besides, it is an MMO, you can't really compare it to the previous games of the series. Not to mention, it can't be that craptacular (no matter what you or I thinks) if it has managed to dominate the MMO market since its launch.

WC3 just went in a different direction. "Nothing like the old games" versus "Same old rehash of crap." Can't win with that logic, just doesn't work. Besides, I personally felt it was a pretty good game for what it was, and so did plenty of other people. (Even if it was a distance away from the originals in the series.)

Starcraft was released nine years ago, you can't "whore out" something that hasn't been revisited in that long a period.. and as well, it is widely hailed as one of the best all time RTS games out there. Besides, the story did end up leaving a big opening for a sequel.. (And don't mention Ghost, that was a spin off title that went through a ton of issues in its dev cycle, it was canned because it wasn't going anywhere.. besides, more people want another RTS from Blizzard set in the SC universe than some oddball FPS\Stealth shooter.) Not to mention, that a lot of people (myself included) have just wanted this, for quite awhile. Be happy that a lot of fans get what they want instead of grumbling about Blizzard not inventing a new universe.. =P (Besides, as a writer myself.. I find it MUCH easier to work with my current universes than to re-invent new ones.. The more you try to make anew, the more they start to look like each other.. which in many ways is worse than continuing existing storylines.)

Annnd.. I'm not even going to try and decipher your firecrackers comment, since the game is still early in development and there isn't that much media to use as a frame of reference for something like that yet.

Strange, I can't see why they'd take it down then.
And eh, I probably should have checked it out when I first noticed the thread, since now it seems I'm out of luck. Oh well.

I find it interesting that they snagged the NiGHTS musician..
I don't know much of his work outside NiGHTS (and there are no other references placed up there of what else he has done) but.. I wonder if it might be any indication that we'll see Nights added to the game in some form or another? It is a bit speculative I know, and I can't derive much of the same conclusion from the majority of the other listed artists (whom are much better known), but I wonder all the same.

No offense Peardian, but when I saw that, the first thing that came to mind was "Why does tingle have tentacles." "Did tingle put on maj-- Oh it's a pokemon!" Yeah.

Funny, I thought pretty much the same thing.. Though I'm not very familiar with Pokemon these days, so eh.

The original kicks far more ass of course. I would be upset if someone made a MvsDK editor instead...

Yep, heaven forbid we get an editor for a game that is awesome in its own way instead.

*shrugs*
Even if not very similar to eye of the beholder, I can still see "not very similar" as being too similar in this context..

They may have done so because the plastic the SNES carts use (and the SNES itself uses) tends to turn an ugly yellow-brown shade after a certain number of years pass.. Nintendo eventually corrected this issue in later batches of the plastic production, but pretty much all of the early shell casings for the SNES and its games have turned to to an ugly yellow by now.

At least, that's the only sensible reason I can see for them painting something like that..

If you'd rather not implement a delete feature, why not just setup something like the the Landfill forum, but for PM's? As in, any PM's tagged for "deletion" would be moved under another subfolder in the PM box? Or would that be even more trouble? *shrugs*

Well, in my opinion, Mario VS Donkey Kong would be awesome if it was just a stand-alone game. But the original Donkey Kong '94 came out more than 10 years before, and was superior in nearly every way.

I'm not disagreeing with the quality statement here at all, but the fact remains, an editor is an editor.. And the hacking community is all about changing things and improving upon what sucks or what is boring, so meh? I can't see a good reason to discourage someone from making an editor for this game if they're genuinely interested in doing so. (Course, there was nothing wrong with suggesting '94 instead, but there are less pushy ways to do that.)

I have yet to see an N64 Emulator or plugin that renders everything correctly.. And I consider this a bit odd since the PSX has been near flawlessly emulated for quite awhile now in comparison. Many popular games like Paper Mario just have.. problems.. Enough so that I just don't feel like bothering with it.

The half yellow issue is usually due to two different batches of plastic being used on the object in question. Some SNES' had the same thing, where an old batch was used for one side, and a newer batch for the other, leaving only half the console yellow.

It looks fabulous, very nice.. Though I might suggest placing something behind the television there, perhaps a tall lamp or a plastic tree.. Or you could try hanging something like a small fern down from above there.. Anything to cover up the empty space the corner leaves.

Really quite good taste you have in any event, I like it a lot.

SamuraiX was an infamous troll, flamer, spammer, etc. who posted a lot on Acmlm's II's early days. After he was banned, he registered again and again under new accounts after each one was banned.

He was just annoying, really. I'm actually a bit surprised he re-registered after his banning because in spite of his obnoxious behavior, his intelligence suggested he was above that.. But eh well.

As for this Mario Hacker person.. I will never be able to understand the irrational, illogical, and pointless behavior his archetype represents. He wasn't welcome here, he knows that still, but he comes back blindly and thinks if he acts even more rude and\or idiotic that he'll incite some "revenge"? It isn't as though that kind of thing impacts anyones daily lives, or that the vast majority even take the time to reply or acknowledge such behavior.. So I don't see the point.. It just seems to me that they waste more time than anything else in doing this. (Which could be better spent on.. anything.)

I don't see the big deal about Yoshi's voice, really.. He just makes a funny sound effect or two and says his name, that's pretty much all there is to it. Doesn't seem like anything to be so particular about.
