I don't know.. After being around that guy for so many years, I had a hard time dismissing his actions as anything.. normal, or quirky even. He just seemed unnaturally uninterested in doing much of anything and pushed me into doing it for him instead.
Ehh.. It is possible he was just like that, but he was really a good guy at heart so I don't like to think that he might have just been using me, or that he might have actually been able to apply himself and stop needing me for every little thing if I pushed harder... It seemed more like a real disorder to me, especially toward the end, but no amount of pushing to get him involved in any help for it worked.. So yea.. I dunno. |

I've actually gotten so used to the default theme here now that I'm not sure I like the alternatives quite as much as the original..
Though yea, a green theme might be neat. |

I'm fine with people who prefer the real thing more, but.. Like I said in my previous post, it is possible to set things up almost exactly like the real thing. (For all intents and purposes, it looks the same, plays the same, controls the same, and "should" sound the same..)
I realize not everyone can arrange such a setup, but.. yea, that's close enough that I don't really notice a difference anymore personally. |

Ohh, Emerald Envy is nice.. The banner at the top kind of contrasts with the theme though.. The light blue in it doesn't really go with the dark scheme too well in my opinion. Though changing the blue to a green, grey, or black shade would probably work wonders in resolving that.. well, that is if it is even possible to have a custom banner for each theme yet? Ah, I'm just being picky..
Definitely nice though, I think I'll make this one my new theme. |

Hmm..
I think I'm pretty much exactly like you on the subject. I don't care much for using real names on the internet, though there are some very rare exceptions where I will, if I've known the person for a long time and have a reason to do so.. |

Posted by Shiryu I like this idea.. It makes good use of the Wii's built-in wi-fi and offers a lot of potential for third parties who want to make a quick buck off their characters. (That is, they could sell third party characters like they do with the virtual console games..) Regardless of what they end up doing though, I'm looking very forward to this game. |

Posted by DarckthunderPosted by Kattwah I wouldn't. It is fine I guess, but I don't like the.. uh, I don't know what the word is for it, but the general theme presented there isn't to my personal taste. I much prefer things like Emerald Envy, or the type of scheme like Tarale presented on the last page. (By the way Tarale, that IS a very neat looking theme.. although I'm not usually one for pink, I have to say, with some tweaking it'd make an excellent addition to the board.) |

I'm aware actually, but the details weren't required to get the point across. |

I don't think the party ball really counts as an "item" exactly.. and the laser sword I just assumed to be some obscurity from one of Nintendo's older titles. In any event though, I think Alex was on the right track to rekindle discussion here.. I wonder what new items they could bring to the table? Hmmm.. |

I don't know, depending on the song you could easily get the effect you're talking about.. but it hardly applies to ALL music, and certainly not with most genres of music. Sooo.. yea.. |

Posted by Clockworkz Far as I know, it "isn't" coming out of the Gamecube, so no? From what I can tell (and I did some checking just now) it appears to only be coming out for the Wii, no GCN version will be available to my knowledge. |

I think it was initially under development for the GCN, but later moved to the Wii. But as of now, I can't find anywhere that lists it for the GCN anymore.. so I doubt it's going to be anything short of a Wii Exclusive. |

You're right, though it is barely, barely noticeable.. if not impossible to notice when Tina is sitting on something dark. (And I usually use a dark theme in Windows, so I wouldn't have ever caught it if you hadn't pointed it out.) |

Twilight Princess technically was upwards to 70 hours, especially if you didn't zoom through the game and instead took some time to enjoy the sights a bit. (At least, I clocked in around that amount of time.) Though I can see how some diehard Zelda fans would easily beat it in under that..
In any case, this game is looking incredible. I'm definitely going to pick it up sometime next month if I get the chance.. Thanks for the reminder about it too Zem, nearly forgot all about this game until I saw the thread for it this morning. |

Posted by setzPosted by Krisan Thyme *shrugs* Perhaps your emphasis is better placed than mine was then, but my point still stands that this is an incredible looking hack and it is a shame we don't see more like it. |

Ehh, The RPG games were fun, but theres no harm done is adopting the art style into another genre with some new twists. All and all, it looks genuinely interesting, and I like how Nintendo often tries to shake things up a bit.. It helps keep things from getting too stale. |

Posted by XkeeperPosted by KlesTry to knock off the pointless spam for once On that note, she always starts with a weird outline around her in Vista (as was mentioned earlier in the thread), although this isn't a conflict with Vista itself so much as it is a conflict with the Aero theme.. Switching to the classic Windows theme seems to remove the weird outline and display her perfectly normally.. but why this is I simply don't understand. Not a big deal to me since I run Vista as a secondary OS on this machine (I have a dual-boot setup between XP and Vista) so ehh.. But it is a weird issue none the less.. Oh and Peardian.. That outfit is just gorgeous! It is kind of extravagant for Tina though.. And yet, so very well done at the same time. |
