Font just shrunk really small, then it inflated really big. Poking at stuff are we Xkeeper?

Heh, heh..
At one point the font scaled everything so large I had a flashback to the old 640x480 days.

Smallest is too small for me, but I do like "Small" so.. I think I'll use that for right now. Thanks.

This feature will be implemented eventually. As it stands right now, a lot of work is being done on the board and many basic features (like this one) are taking some time to code in. Just sit tight awhile and it'll probably be there when you least expect it.

Haha, yea. But it is true, features tend to just popup out of nowhere on here.

The general idea of whats going on in the third one is good, yea. It just could use a lot of tweaking to make it better overall, the implementation itself could be done better I guess I'm saying.

The title screen looks neat, good work on that. The overworld is pretty interesting too.. although not a lot is going on there, and I assume you're still working on it judging by the fact there is only one level, one castle, and Mario's sprite remains unchanged.

The first level shot there is a bit.. dull? There isn't any level background to be seen there, and nothing really going on to make the screenshot look all that interesting.. The sprites and YI style graphics look nice though.

The second level shot is.. less dull at least, pretty nice looking I guess, but still not much going on, especially on the left most side of the image. Emptiness like that doesn't express much on behalf of the level design.

The third level shot... eh, not much more to say.

I can't tell much from the castle screenshot unfortunately, very hard to judge much based on that particular screen.. though nothing is particularly wrong with it either. *shrugs*

Overall, I'd say you could potentially make a very nice hack here.. Based on the initial screenshots here though, seems you have a ways to go before getting there. Still, seems like you could do some pretty neat things with Toad here if you're creative, so good luck with it.

Sounds good to me. Glad you're good with criticism too, since I don't like scaring people off - rather, I like to help improve people in these things by pointing out how I think things could be done differently or just plain better in general.

As for the edit button.. It's coming, it's coming.

I'm so jealous of everyone who has a Tinasitter.

She really is cute though to be serious a moment, ya did excellent work on her I'd say.

I glance over at it every little bit actually.. There actually isn't much to say about it, nothing interesting is going on there.. kind of boring all and all.

4kb does seem a bit smaller, but I do see how the level data could be fit into that.. probably would be damned pretty straight forward to edit the levels once you've got the compression licked too.

Oh, and yes Kles, I haven't played it either but.. I remember those screenshots from when they were originally posted here some.. time ago, it has been awhile, and the idea was that the poster managed to create that row of ? Blocks with some poking around..

My schedule is almost always screwed up.. I'll pretty much just pass out whenever I feel tired, and hell if I know when I'll be back up. Sometimes I can pull off a normal sleep cycle, but.. it always gets screwed up again somehow.. not that it matters at the moment though, my daily schedule is flexible enough that I could get away with the weirdest things.

Ultima Underworld.

Though the Ultima series in general is hardly underrated by any means.. the two Underworld games are kind of forgotten by most people who were around when it was made, or even unheard of altogether.. Which sucks, because UW is one incredible game for its time.. (Hell it is even pretty amazing now.)

I'd say Underworld is one of my favorite games ever, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I noticed you were missing a Broken Stick in your weapon list.
Other than that... Hmm, I'll get back to you on that after I've given it more thought.

Oh, and yes, I second the Bacon Equipment idea.

annoying ass cough.
Is that a euphamism for "farting"?

It wasn't meant to be, but that would be a better alternative to this now that I think about it.

Acmlm definitely won the thread.

Oh, and I never actually tried playing Zero Wing.. I don't even know what the gameplay is like, never even seen in it in action. Maybe I should go rectify that sometime soon for the heck of it.
