he says

wah!
Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmnmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnmm!
Yoshi!
Plung!

except in RPG Mario games where he actually speaks proper English....

Those are just grunts, except for saying his own name.. (Which I already acknowledged above.) And Yoshi doesn't have any Vocal sound in the RPG games, just text, so that doesn't apply either.

So yea.. I don't see the big deal.

And.. It appears our update for the day is the Pokeball. Whee..

Sorry to derail the Yoshi conversation, but this is a very interesting find to tide you over till the next update!

I've noticed something with those character icons... You know, the egg, the triforce, the mushroom, etc? They have only the ones currently used uploaded, so you can't just change the number to get ahead of them... but they didn't upload them in order of the site updates!

I found this very interesting, but then I reviewed the missing icons..

Confirmed Icons: (The ones you already noted)
01 - Smash Emblem - Bosses\Misc. Characters
08 - Poké Ball - Pokémon Series
09 - Triforce - Zelda Series
10 - Super Mushroom - Mario Series
11 - Yoshi Egg - Yoshi Series
18 - Bow of Palutena - Kid Icarus Series

Previous Icons:
?? - Starfox Emblem - Starfox Series
?? - Screw\Samus Emblem - Metroid Series
?? - Star Symbol - Kirby Series
?? - DK Icon - Donkey Kong Series
?? - Planetary Symbol - Earthbound Series
?? - Falcon Icon - F-Zero Series
?? - Plum Symbol - Ice Climbers
?? - Fire Emblem Icon - Fire Emblem Series
?? - Mr. Game & Watch Icon - Mr. Game & Watch Portable Devices

Upcoming Icons:
?? - ? - MGS Series

Plausible Icons:
?? - Wario Ware Icon - Wario Series

That.. condenses the number from eight possible new icons, down to..? Very few. That is of course assuming Wario gets his own icon, and oddballs like Marth and the Ice Climbers return.. And eh, it could go higher than 18 too, but my point is that right now I think we should keep the speculation to a minimum. Not that this wasn't an excellent observation.. But it doesn't really tell us as much as I hoped it would.

I do not like fish very much at all.. When I was little I used to love it though, not sure why that changed either but I can hardly stand to eat it now.

That's definitely, uh.. different! Going by the graphics design itself though, it appears you've done a pretty good job of it. Things seem to blend in pretty well together..

I have to admit that I've ran into the same issue several times in the past myself.. I guess I should get off my lazy ass and download that Web Developer extension for Firefox or something, since that would be more practical, but I can at least see where he's coming from with this suggestion.

The Ice Climbers weren't worthless.. And hey, they were unique in their design. Perhaps they aren't especially popular either, but to be honest.. I'd rather be more surprised if they didn't make a come back than if they did. (I mean hell, they pulled Pit out of one of their oldest games.. why get rid of the Ice Climbers in turn?)

And I agree that the Fire Emblem characters are a bit touchy.. Though I would hope at the least that they'd get replaced with someone more interesting from the series if nothing else. Things like Pichu are indeed hopelessly doomed though..

If your computer is overheating, you have better things to spend the money on.

They might as well go PC then, because with all the violent and twisted elements this game has.. I can't see them being able to tone it down to an M rating without completely redoing major aspects of the game. (Which would ultimately butcher whatever they're going for with this game..)

It is also pretty amusing, because I never would have acknowledged this game or even knew what it was about if they hadn't made all this negative media coverage about it. I'm actually a little curious about the game now, where as I probably never would have touched it before.. It seems like like all this effort is more counter productive than anything else..

I know what you meant, however.. I'm merely reaffirming Xkeeper's point, if you have the money to buy the browser but don't go out very often.. the money would probably be better spent on something else. As such your example really didn't refute his point, as if your computer is overheating you would probably be better spending the money on something to keep your computer cooler instead.

Can't say I'm the biggest Pokemon fan.. (Haven't played them since the originals on the Gameboy..) But I'm definitely interested in seeing this progress. Looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Link had a Brownish-Blond hair color in TP, and Zelda had a Blondish-Brown hair color in TP.. They essentially just lightened Link's hair and darkened Zelda's hair in Brawl a bit. Both Link and Zelda have gone from brown to blond and back several times over the years, so this isn't too much of a surprise.. (And it does give her character a bit of a badass old school feeling on top of things.)

Besides, I'd be more surprised than anything if she didn't have an alternate color scheme where her dress is pink and her hair is blond. As far as Sheik goes though, I dunno.. Sheik only appeared in one game - OoT - and her role as Sheik was relatively minor in that game to begin with.. I can easily see it being removed in order to give Zelda a better overall (and more consistent with the TP design) moveset. Maybe Sheik could make a comeback as a separate character though.. perhaps similar to Zero Suit Samus, assuming ZS Samus is even a separate character. (And if she isn't, I suppose that does leave some extra hope for Sheik's return in Zelda's moveset.)

Every Zelda game since OoT has had some form of OoT (and other Zelda-ish) nods included in them, the Brawl site even acknowledges this in the song summary. Wind Waker was comprised entirely of music from other Zelda games for example. TP had a lot as well. OoT being the first 3D Zelda was significant, and so the music from it is incredibly memorable, maybe moreso than any other Zelda game's music. So the fact that they'd brought it back for Brawl, is pretty much expected.

I really don't think you can look at this music as a hint toward anything specific.. It is just a remix of some very popular songs that have also appeared in later Zelda games since then. Not that I am saying Sheik won't make the cut (there is probably a fairly good chance she WILL make the cut in some form or another, just maybe not as a Zelda transformation) but you can't really use this as any leverage toward your argument that she'll be back. (No one was arguing that OoT elements wouldn't be in the game, just that the Link and Zelda characters specifically were made after the TP designs, and it goes to logical reason that they'd stay consistent with TP's lore.)

But the reason we die and how we die pretty much go hand and hand together.. If we didn't, we'd overpopulate the planet rather quickly and that would be a very bad thing. It is therefore our nature to die.

If you're looking for some profound philosophical reason for death then.. you're probably going to be vastly disappointed at the answers you hear. Even if you delve into the reaches of possibility and consider the after life into the equation, there is still the simple fact that we die because we do - it is just the way it works, there is nothing more to it than that.

More than a level.. Note the icon added for the level? They only add icons that correlate with their characters.. I think we can actually expect to see an Animal Crossing character added to the roster now. (As odd as that is in a way.)

I do not know about that. I would have assumed the icons correlate with the levels or games they are based off of (Ex. Battlefield is not based on any games therefor is Smash Bros exclusive and thus gets a Smash Bros icon while Smash Town here gets an icon of a leaf indicating it was based off Animal Crossing).

Goro has the Falcon Icon.. Dr. Wright has the Smash Emblem.. (Get where I am going with this?)
Without repeating what Squash already stated, no I highly doubt they gave a unique icon just for this one stage when the Smash Emblem would have sufficed just fine.

On another note, it just so happens that it is Icon 15.. which is somewhere in the middle of all the other character icons. One would think a stage specific icon, if such a thing existed, would be numbered higher over the normal character icons. (Somewhere over 18, which is currently the highest number character Icon - Pit's.)
