But, 100 posts a day seems fair, but I'm sure we can get that count up higher. We just need some way to get the masses to come here. We've got quite a bit of NES hacking going on here, so we may see a boost coming up if a certain user here plays their cards right.

Also, this is my 999th post and I was gonna do some 999 "sign of the angel thing" but i'm lazy and that's gay.
Well, since you seem to be good with making videos and that stuff, you can make a brief tutorial of SMB3 Hacking, and introduce what emulation and ROM Hacking is. Then maybe make a couple more videos to conclude SMB3 Hacking, and all those people who loved playing their ol' favotire games will "come to the masses". Of course you'll have to have this site easy to been seen in your video or the description.

I think he was referring to the new SMB3 editor that DahrkDaiz is developing.
NO. with what we have right now. Or else I'll just scrap this. Anyway, congrats on getting more posts. I wonder what it was like a couple of years ago.

Hmm...what version of FFVI is that? The resolution seems...different.
It's a .Net-based rewrite of FFVI, similar to OpenPoké, but not on the original hardware. 320x240 used to be a common resolution for PCs back in the day.

Right, I'm familiar with the resolution. I only mentioned it 'cause it was different from the SNES's screen size.

A PC port of FF6, huh? Intriguing...
Interesting... nice progress, as usual.

Finally, back with some more screens. This is an autoscrolling Lakitu level - the scenery may look tempting, but do you have the guts to complete it?

Photobucket
I know... status bar is still in my workshop.

Photobucket
Now which one of these has what Mario needs? Tip: Don't panic here. Get under the ? blocks, and try your best to stay on the left side of the screen.

Photobucket Photobucket
Still got more graphics in progress. You'll actually rewarded this time if you get that ? block there... but like I said...

Photobucket Photobucket
If you panic, you lose!

looks stupidly hard make the ice blocks at least 2 wide since it's on ice.
Yeah, I really need to tone this down. But school and other activities are taking up my time. Hopefully I can get as much done with Mario's Trials that I can!
Posted by Trelior
Zbyte, you might want to change the standard 4-byte platforms you're using because if you look at the top part of them, it looks garbled like the underground objects in the Hilly set.

Still got more graphics in progress.
I posted about that above. I started working on the graphics and left them unfinished. I didn't have the iced-over platfroms overlap because SMB3 Workshop didn't display it right, but now I did. When an icy level autoscrolls, Mario doesn't move left this time. I also recognized another thing: all Flat Ground objects, both in the Plains set and the Ice set; the Flat Ground never extends as you go up. Glad you guys are interested. Thanks for the comments! They are always appreciated.

Like KP9000 said, the description matches the content. I don't think I'll play thins, because there is no new adventure, which I usually look forward to when playing hacks. Kinda siding with Quick Curly here too.

Well, here's a level I did with the build first released.
I just double-checked his post. The link isn't there!

"Reuben"? Well... this looks awesome. In your scapshot with the tall platforms, did you program it so that all the other flat ground objects from C2-CF became taller? Hm... colored pipes! 4-byte Munchers in every level? Still, this is looking good! Don't forget about Toad Houses and Castles!

I heard you say somewhere that importing levels won't be easy, but my hack is halfway done...

Wheat Thins, fried bacon, anyone?

So... what kind of popcorn do you like? I myself chow on Kettle Corn, Caramel, and the usual, Butter. Maybe I'll look for some others.

Frantik, those screenshots look awesome. Can't wait to see more! Good luck with the rest of your project!

Mineyl, all of those graphics look awesome, but the bridges don't look right... they sort of go into the water. But that's definitely more than what I could do.

And since this is the home for screenshots... The Brink...

Your editor looks good, no doubt. Oh wait... you forgot Warp Zone...

I believe the enemies aren't put in. Is it possible to combine some graphical enemy clans so they're more compatible? Can't wait for more progress!

Help! Help! I just made a level, and I set it to pipe. And it's not working properly!

And this is what I get, but I used what I could...

Yes, the pipe is working properly. You're just not used to seeing it with that palette.
I can't tell if it's gonna go in or not. Also, I set the level to a Pipe level, like 7-1. I'm getting weird plains stuff instead!

Ever since the day you knew about emulators... which one is your favorite?

I like emulation, though I do play my PS3...

EDIT: Hex numbers don't work. Screw me. Is there a way that I can edit that?

Nice job. And since so many are posting them, it would be good to have a screenshot feature, kind of like the one with the SMB3 Map Editor. This is distracting... and finally... a non-plains level! And since I just touched on it, remember the vertically scrolling level options.

Photobucket

Will there be the default music tracks to select, and then some room for custom music just like customizing palettes? This seems like a good idea.

Edit: There was supposed to be a [?] block near the bottom.
