BUT I can't email any suggestions or send money if I can't even contact the " mon " the genius . . . >:-( Either way what Fraxy needs is : (1) sound effects browse selector for each weapon type (2) weapons colour selector for EACH and every weapon ID. (3) attack spirite (i.e. bullet / laser) zoomer instead of fixed sized items / attack sprite secondary effect selector (i.e. lightning / wet look / sparks) (4) damage level selector - the original laser damage is WEAK and it's draw range too short compared to it's brightness. (5) PARTS editor or creator application. The parts are just too small. Maybe a parts zoomer? (6) Brightness Hue / Transparency / Background Pattern sliders for all parts (with Optional Highlights) . . . Finally Byodo flesh! (7) self scrolling background option and selector / frame based events creator (A SHMUP editor / creator! ) (8) Tail movement options (9) 'Dead Fire' to 'Homing Level' priority selector, makes weapons or enemy ships and weapons parts deadlier. (10) Full range of weapons options / selectables for item boxes (i.e. pick up your defeated opponent's guns) (11) Core behaviour selector decoupled from core size (12) Background and music change event with fade outs, messages, score counts, etc. (Level change) I hope " mon " sees this and replies or something . . . To NightKev! ++++++++ Sorry about the mispost. Wow they sure move fast here, I was looking at the lists in horror wondering how many screens I had to scroll to find " Fraxy Forum ". Luckily I looked back heh and the whole post had moved like you said . . . Thx for the site urls too! But I didn't understand those, all in Japanese, even with google translate I couldn't find " mon's " email. Could you forward me that? 7,8, 12 are already dooable? My bad, I must admit I don't fully understand the workings of Fraxy yet, been wondering about so many of the options, even the Regenerating / Repair core has me confused still. I'll try to figure those out again in my free time. Love the nice pink glows tho. Ooo yes a " GLOW " option with colour selector too! Er so dya know a way to contact " mon " with my suggestions? Also unless " mon's " some kinda reclusive millionaire who doesn't need the funds, how does one send anything to him meanwhile? Thanks for the reply tho and nice meeting ya! Energy line tractor beam? Is that something like Raiden 2's pink homing laser? I'd love to see that on Fraxy too! |

Well then I can't hurry along those suggestions I had then . . . alot of people keep suggesting things but never give the guy an incentive to work harder, maybe a check or a nice card would do, but since he can't be reached virtually, I guess he'll just have to do with our admiration. Ok lets say if someone did get professional programmers to implement those upgrades everyone suggested, wouldn't development diverge and 2 different programs which may not be compatible appear? And cos " mon " has claimed the copyrights to this program, who could want to develop it alongside him if he's so difficult to reach? Wouldn't that create some kinda problem eventually? I'm not a programmer or software developer so pardon if my understanding of how the (open source??? free enterprise???) concept you mentioned is wrong or uninformed. How does this work btw??? Thanks! |
