Posted by NightKev Posted by SmallhackerMeaning first revision (not edited). Cough cough. Hmm... Seems like a somewhat interesting idea, but totally not worth the time to bother downloading it. |

...Hydra... Umm... thanks for making the obvious association...?
(Although I wholeheartedly concur with the response given in the comic. Seriously, anyone who talks like that in real life needs to get the acronym beat out of them, even if it is just a commercial) |

Posted by SonicandfailsThe light flickers. He wants it to be completely consistent, so doing it one piece at a time is probably extremely irksome. Peardian: Assuming Fireworks has the same blending options as Photoshop (it's been too long, sorry), it seems to work best if you set the blending style to Linear Dodge, 100% opacity. For comparison... Your image: Composite: The colors aren't quite perfect, but decently close. And tyty210, just because you've never heard of it doesn't mean that Fireworks doesn't also support that. I'm fairly certain it has, even since the version I had several years ago. |

Hmm... Excuse me for being picky, but... there are a few things that I find a bit problematic about the new ultra. If the bottom row of tiles has the appropriate colors, I'd suggest you thicken the bottom parts of the letters, the L looks a bit bad. Further, it's a drop shadow. The edges of the shadow should not be in line with the edges of the letters.
Otherwise, I like it. Fits the style pretty well. Better than I could do on my own, that's for sure. |

...Please tell me I'm not the only one who didn't forget that the Valkyries were all female, right?
(It's not so much that the equipment is defective as it is that the people trying to wear it were. Good job guys.) |

Then what on earth would make you think it'd fit you and offer any degree of use? Most girls are shaped a bit differently from most guys, don't forget. |

Posted by NightKevThanks for that, really. And the marquee being too small is a problem I've seen in Firefox. Refresh and it'll look right. (Honestly, I have no clue why the set it that way. It sets the height of the marquee automatically to something absurdly small because it does that before the image has loaded even partly...) |

Umm... NightKev... He meant the one next to the "Quote" link. The URL for the Link link will take you to the post whose one you clicked, no questions asked. |

Those hermit crabs look Puggsy-inspired to me, but I may just be imagining that... Still definitely unique for a Castlevania area, and looks nice to boot, though. |

Posted by Metal_Man88Did you try Challenge Mode? That tends to be fun. (Rather difficult, too.) I play Phantasy Star Universe. Sometimes. |

...The name is Ness. I'd think someone would've mentioned that by now.
Good to see that the Pokemon Stadium map is coming back. And Goldeen is keeping its same role as always. |

I loved Big Blue. It was just so... unique.
I rather liked Poke Floats and Rainbow Ride, as well. Icicle Mountain was miserable, though. (Flat Zone needs to die. It was irritating in all sorts of ways.) EDIT: I'm fairly certain that falling on the track in Big Blue (if not R-canceled) would mainly be lethal only for the slower characters to recover naturally. The lighter characters tend to survive better, from what I remember; don't expect it to work well as Bowser, particularly with his hideously slow jump speed. |

The problem with posting the Mario sprite (if it is indeed the one from Mario Kart he was talking about) is that it does not even slightly resemble it. Mario is in a different pose, the shapes are all different, the shading on the legs is markedly different, the seat is missing in the Wario sprite, even the shading on the kart itself is in a different pattern.
...(I'm all for giving people a reasonable doubt, but calling that sprite modified from Mario's is a joke.) |

...NightKev... A bit behind the times, huh?
And more importantly, I'm fairly certain portable MP3 players existed before iPods. (I also resent classing that entire market as "iPod-knockoffs".) So... Essentially, it's like a brain slug for computers? Groovy, I think. Could see it coming in handy, but I'll probably not get one because I can't see it coming in handy for me in particular. |

Posted by Panzer88It's Yoshi's taunt in Mario Party... 7, I believe? One of the Gamecube ones, at least... It's really obnoxious if you keep making him do it during other people's turns. Trust me, I do that myself. That is a pretty far recovery, yes. Although I think it's mainly just a bit more lateral (and a bit less vertical) distance than the one in Melee, hard to tell since I don't measure it too closely. |

I know that at least I am a bit jaded as far as MMX6 because of Metal Shark Player's level. You know, the one spot where you need one of about 3 specific chips to progress? And then it saves there so you can't backtrack? Yeah. I know I love knowing I have to go and purposefully waste all my lives to progress. Uh huh.
(That, and Up + Attack should NOT have you fling yourself straight down, completely ignoring the rail you need to hold on to. I'm looking at you, Zero.) Basically, I see it as having loads of potential (seriously, it had plenty of awesome ideas) wasted by sub-par, irritating gameplay. And the translation sucked too. wite: Fallout is interesting. From my experience, either you've never heard of it or you love it to death. Not quite sure how that would map to people's appreciation, though... |

That requires an amount of prescience that I doubt you have, Drag. Right now, it's just overhyped. |

I take issue. There is no "Get out of jail free" card!
Well, it would solve his "grandparents play solitaire on computer while I want to sleep" problem, at least... |
