I'm pretty sure you can usually see the egg underneath him. Otherwise, you couldn't tell when it was about to sink (and therefore, that you were about to die). If not, my mistake.

I've eaten butter on its own before. I wouldn't recommend it.
You're clearly a fool. It's superb.

Can you slap the people who changed "Nitro" to "Nintendo DS" also? How about Dolphin->Gamecube? Project Reality->Nintendo 64? Face it, they're cursed with having codenames that are twice as cool as the system name when it comes out.

So how's that triple bypass going?
Nono, it's quintuple bypass, not triple.
This is one of those "You admitted you enjoy something so you must do it constantly" things, isn't it?

Probably not a good time to mention how good salt tastes, huh?

Pokemon D/P already have enough to mess up the online trading thing, anyway. Let's see... you can clone stuff in Emerald (and R/S? not sure), you can AR things in FR/LG/R/S/E, you can glitch stuff in D/P (Japanese version; there are glitches to get Darkrai and Shaymin/Sheimi already, even though their events aren't out yet, and it seems likely to have a way to get Arceus/Aruseus), and so on and so forth.

As for the cheating... ehh... There's been a decent amount of stuff with MPH and MKDS anyway.

And there is no illegal amount of porn, you can look at as much porn as you possibly want and not have to worry about anything (in the united states).
I was assuming he meant he hit a download cap, where the ISP starts to look at you funny for getting so much in one day/night/etc. I know mine supposedly used to start checking in on what you're doing when you hit a certain point.

Just by the counts, it's worse than Columbine by a good margin. Columbine was 15 dead/24 injured (based on Wikipedia); this is 22 dead/20+ injured.

I'm there. Was nowhere near what happened, though.

(This has been an exciting year. There was that escaped convict at the start of the year, two bomb threats, the most recent being last Friday, and now this.)

Correction: 32 killed. At last count.

I honestly prefer to think there's no reason for why he did it. It's a lot easier to live with knowing that people snap and do things like that rather than actually sit down and think "Okay, I'm going to kill a few dozen people..."

In August, someone escaped from one of the Montgomery County police departments (jails? he was in custody, one way or another), shot a deputy, and fled on campus. He was apprehended without harming anyone here, though, as far as I can tell.

Hey, it's not like this happens every day. After all... we're in the middle of god-forsaken NOWHERE (i.e Montgomery County); the worst we usually get is freak torrential downpours, and that's not even caused by humans.

Things like this could happen anywhere.

(Then again, I suppose people aren't itching to have their kids go to Columbine either.)

Oh, we got wind today, too. Only 30 mph for us, though.

I'm sorry but 175 stars? How do you manage that?
Gameshark. Apparently, each level has room for 7 stars to be stored in RAM.

It looks nice, SL64. Not sure if it's just the screenshots, but Luigi's cap seems to have a hint of red in the second and third ones, though.

I can't believe the school didn't go into lockdown. There's a guy with two guns on your campus, and you're gonna trust that he's not going to do anything else now that his ex is dead? COME ON. They could have prevented a lot of tragedy yesterday.
Correction: There may (or may not be) someone on campus who shot two people in what seemed to be a domestic dispute. Don't suggest actions based on what we know now, suggest based on what was known then.

Now, tell me this: You get into a fight, things get out of hand, you kill someone (two people in this case, but meh). What do you do? Do you run, or do you go and start shooting random people, particularly 2 hours later and half a mile away?

Sonicandtails & drjayphd: They did run. Out the window. It wasn't pretty. (One got a sprained ankle, the other... "wasn't moving" if I remember the report right?)

Somehow the Link to the Past bit sounds too obscure..
Well... The problems are all the articles (a and the) and the preposition (to). "Link" makes sense in the obscure way that most things did, and "Past" goes along with the ancient Hylian part.

He meant that you could copy and paste the contents of the .tbl files (or the readmes) into one of your posts. After all, they are plaintext inside.

After all... who plays Ps1 anymore with the Ps2 and 3 out?
Wrong question. The appropriate question is "Who plays the PS2 now with the PS3 out?"

The game looks nice, at least. Haven't tried it yet, though.

Being nitpicky here, but... You're missing an article in the message box. "...can be a wolf..."

Otherwise, looks good. The brown trees on the overworld seem odd to me, but that's really just personal preference.

Dawn Olsen is a veteran blogger who proudly supports the guy who publishes this awesome site. She's also an avid reader of high quality tabloid fare, enjoys gardening and scatological skywriting.

Now if that doesn't sound like a reputable author, I don't know what does.

(Of course, high-quality tabloid stuff can be good, yes. But only the ones that are legitimately awesome, like stories dealing with bigfoot stealing formula 1 race cars and the like. Celebrity gossip is pure trash, of course--naturally, that seems to be the kind she's into.)

Somehow, the article feels like it's missing its punchline.

I played a bit of MK64 online with someone I know last night, seemed to work fine. Of course, we only played through Mushroom Cup on the 100cc GP, and we were practically LANed...

(Had to turn off "Force Alpha Blending" to make it show up right, though.)
