As for the Ness fans out there, I still think he would be in the game seeing that Ness and Lucas probably will be clones when it comes to moves. Maybe a little different.
So... with absolutely no moves shown (except for what looks to be the neutral-A air move) you can immediately make that judgment?

I suppose it's just like how Ike is a Marth/Roy clone, huh?

Alright, enough sarcasm. I find it interesting that the post directly mentions Ness. From what I remember, the only other characters directly mentioned this way are Kirby (in the Knuckle Joe description) and Captain Falcon (in the Samurai Goroh description).

I can say with some 80% certainty that the first thing that all my friends will say when they see that in the actual game is something along the lines of "Whoa. Awesome!" Trust me, most of the difficulty in making those things is not in the graphics, so they aren't being particularly lazy with it.

Also: Who would find the bike from Excitebike 64 to be even slightly interesting or iconic in any way? It's just a bike. At least the NES one has history behind it and looks unique.

Wait. How is this any worse than Kingdom or Kingdom II?

Dialga/Palkia have the same capture rate as Chatot. Read: Not very hard to do.

Anyone else gotten loads of stuff underground?
I've got a box full of nothing but fossil Pokemon. I also have innumerable amounts of everything else you can dig up (except Odd Keystones; I only have one or two of those, for some reason).

Yeah, I get hopelessly addicted to digging up stuff underground. It's quite bothersome.

I don't think that's what he meant at all. I think it's the "I put random things in random places and call it good" thing that also leads to the use of invisible stuff.

I wonder if all characters will have different voices when you switch the region.
I don't remember... Most of the Pokemon voices changed, didn't they? I know Pikachu/Pichu's didn't, seeing how they had the same name/VA in the US and Japan anyway...

I suppose the question is whether Purin's voice changed when it became Jigglypuff.

Holy shit. Awesome. And they even used Live & Learn (from Sonic Adventure 2) for his theme.

"Kirby Ultra Super Deluxe". They really need to work on their titles.

Pleaselettherebeextrastuffpleasepleaseplease

Ahem.

Kirby Super Star was always my favorite Kirby game, so I'll get it purely for that reason. Doesn't look like they're adding any new games that they're willing to show yet, though...

Umm... Does anyone have the slightest idea what that screenshot with the cards of the various bosses is all about?

Stop taking such a naive view of things, GM. The alternative isn't getting the exact same game 2 months earlier; it's getting a noticeably less polished version. Would you prefer they rush it out, or make it the best it could be?

You could just swap the light blue for white (or vice versa) and use the final opaque color for the outline.

New level tonight. New Pork City! If you were paying attention to the Mother/Earthbound fandom, this is the major Mother 3 spoiler they were getting worked up about.

For an "Ultimate Chimera", it sure does look rather cuddly, don't you think?

As for why it's a spoiler...
Spoiler:
Porky is the Japanese name for Pokey, from Earthbound.

don't get to excited like I did, he's just an assist trophy
Sigh. Did you [ij]really believe there was even a remote chance he'd be playable? He's way out of his element here, and isn't really notable enough to be a playable character...

(Then again, Ice Climbers had the same problem. Oh well.)

(He would have fit perfectly as a trophy in Melee, though. After all, Tomagon got in.)

a boxer in a fighting game???!?!?!?
Of course, how silly of me. He, a semi-realistic boxer, fits perfectly in a game populated by giant turtles, living balloons/marshmallows/(whatever the hell Kirby is), plumbers who can shoot fireballs, futuristic bounty hunters, and anthropomorphic hedgehogs who can all jump a good 40 feet in the air for no apparent reason.

I will concede that Little Mac would work as a character if you accept that Mike Tyson would fit in just as well.

Am I the only one who took that as a "Why are you programming it in C?" rather than "What is C?"

Kirby was not in that demo. Neither were the Ice Climbers, Zelda, Snake, Pokemon Trainer, or Lucas.

Moreover, Pit's arrows are rather different from Link's arrows, anyway. It's not like the pair of Link and Young Link from Melee.

Arceus, Darkrai, Shaymin, or any other at any level or any nature, and totally unhacked.
Do I really need to point out the irony here?

Sp!t: You're thinking of Dunsparce. I'm not sure if it has any redeeming qualities besides being unusual, though... So I doubt it's worth much.
