I'll admit I haven't really followed ||board (too much... inflammatory humor?), but YD didn't seem particularly bad back when the board wasn't split.
Trax: I think you're ignoring all the people who feel that Grey Mario is far worse than either of the ones he yelled at. And that "unlivable" is absurdly subjective. |

Diamond and Pearl have the switch-at-end-of-turn thing, yes.
I'm pretty sure you're right about the 3rd gen stuff, too. EDIT: In D/P, they also swap in following Sandstorm/Hail/(other weather, not that it affects anything)/Leech Seed/Future Sight (I think). |

Better late than never...
Donkey Kong's Final Smash! Looks to be a more controllable one than Mario or Link's. There's a warning about scrolling levels; this mirrors the warning about Pikachu's final smash ending suddenly. |

Did that person actually say that last part, or did you make it up?
It strikes me as more plausible that Carol simply didn't release it, particularly given that it's not on the Brutal Mario website. |

Posted by AilureImplausible. Ness has been in since the original Smash Bros. At most, I'd see a Mother 3 character as an assist trophy. Posted by AilureA text-heavy game released only in Japan... I'm in the same boat you are. |

Today is Ike's Special Moves!
Somehow reminds me of Kirby's Final Cutter. Interesting that he doesn't flinch while using it. (His other move only has a single screenshot with a bit too many flames to tell what's going on too well.) |

Randy: The problem is, who would he PM? The only one I can think of who'd be guaranteed to have it is Acmlm, and you know how much of an interest he takes in board affairs. |

Oh SNAP. He was right.
Kid Icarus: The Underworld. Nothing too revealing, but... probably the level music. |

I think the issue is that with stock, if it's more than 2 players at a time, you have a better chance of winning by dodging the good player than you do if it's a time match. After all, in free for alls, everyone will be fighting each other; if you have 4 stock left while someone better than you has 1, you'd better win.
Meh. I prefer sticking to casual matches, anyway. I know I don't have what it takes for tournaments. |

Since Alastor covered all the stuff he covered...
Ike's presence would tend to suggest Marth's presence, not Roy's. Marth was the iconic Fire Emblem character; Roy was put in merely to advertise their newest game. As much as I like him and would enjoy seeing a Luigi-esque evolution of his character, he's not terribly likely. Suggesting that characters be removed because you feel they suck is a terribly shortsighted viewpoint. Ice Climbers seem gimmicky enough to stay in, I'd hope. They need more weird characters, not less. Then again, I want Game & Watch to stay in (come on, he beat people up with a TURTLE!), so take it how you will. Also: I love Dr. Mario. His black costume especially. |

Franklin Badge! Earthbound item! Awesome! Mr. Saturn was so lonely... Yeah. I'm not fanatical or anything. |

At 21 credit hours, I don't blame you for planning on dropping stuff.
Squash: He probably grabbed that off of a "detail schedule" page. They tend to omit names in favor of locations. |

Wow. That's incredibly unique.
Makes Pikachu's presence as a free agent a bit odd, though, unless you rationalize it that Pikachu/Jigglypuff are wild ones. |

Well, if they want to keep it the hero only, 4 colors = 4 generations = 4 trainers. Unfortunately, it seems a bit more plausible that they'd just be palette swaps (that could in a flash of brilliance be called Blue, Yellow, and Green); at any rate, having a character called Red who was covered in green would seem just a bit silly, and "Pokemon Trainer" is a color-neutral name.
As much as I'd like to see Wes (from Colosseum) show up, I know that's essentially impossible, no matter what they do. |

To the best of my knowledge, Ash has not been in a single Pokemon game, unless there was some spinoff that featured him.
Aipom: Red was named Green in both the original Green and Leaf Green. If not for G/S/C, Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow would all be valid names for the character. |

New Assist Trophy: Devil!
Does about what you'd expect if you played Devil World, really. Back to the regularly scheduled argument: I was saying that if Gold/Silver/Crystal had never come out, the main character from the 1st generation games would be (equally validly) Red, Green, Blue, or Yellow, depending on which one you played. |

Posted by AilurePokemon Snap is pretty fun. A tad short, though... Pikachu's happiness was cool, in a way. And the fact that it actually talked like in the show was rather neat, if gimmicky as hell. I liked being able to get all the starters without trading, too. (Not adjusting Beedrill's moveset the same way they did Butterfree's was bullshit, however.) |
