Posted by GywallIs it just me, or does the line with "erratic" seem to flow better than it would with "spastic"? Something to do with the rhythm of it, I think... |

Posted by HigsbySuggestion: Darken the light color in the water around the wrecked ship. It looks rather bad, whether it's how it was in the regular game or not. In the other screenshots, you appear to have a lot of rounded corners that have square cliff faces (the plateau with the 1 sign on it is a rather obvious one of these); you may want to change that. Otherwise, it doesn't look too bad. I rather like the waterfall coming out of the cave. |

Civility's not the best word for what I mean, but I'll go with it.
Would it be possible to actually put a rule into effect saying NOT to gang up on people for making what are seen as dumb hacks? The mob mentality does not help anything, particularly given that practically every single person posting tends to say nothing beyond "this sucks" or the giant "FAIL" that seems to be gaining popularity recently. Or perhaps just force people to actually give worthwhile critiques? |

Posted by darklink898Then would you mind sharing with the class what a 4D or 5D Rubik's Cube would look like? (I don't know about you, but I know I can't see more than 3 dimensions.) A computer monitor can't really project 4 dimensions, even if we could see them, anyway. At best it'd have 3 dimensions with an indicator (shade of a given color, for instance) to indicate the 4th... and that only really works with graphs, not so much with Rubik's Cubes. |

Posted by Tatrion Just to interject: Shuckle can easily survive 2 Seismic Tosses. On an HP IV of 0, 160 EVs into HP are required in order to push its HP to the point where Leftovers will put it to where it'll live through the second Seismic Toss. Naturally, the higher the IV the lower the EVs required. Unfortunately, it doesn't look plausible to make it survive the third toss. Yes, I'm a loser with nothing better to do than calculate that I also suck at strategy. I'm looking at what Shuckle can learn, and I can't see much of use. I'd reflexively suggest something like Dig for the evasion benefit for the one turn, but Shuckle has crappy speed and it doesn't help it anyway without Toxic; I'd suggest Roar/Whirlwind/whatever else does that, but it doesn't learn any of those. Substitute doesn't help the situation because it would get destroyed in one hit and things would go back how they were previously. That leaves me with one dumb suggestion. Swagger? I don't know about the standard moveset for the Tosser, but if it relies entirely on Seismic Toss, the attack boost doesn't help it at all, and the ~50% chance of not being damaged may help, I guess. Yes, I know I'm looking at and trying to solve exactly one situation, and failing rather miserably at that. EDIT: At the cost of any and all versatility, I think a Sitrus Berry and perfect HP IVs/EVs will indeed allow Shuckle to survive the third Seismic Toss. Yay? |

Neat. I suppose it'll fill in the void left by Lunar Magic not supporting SMA2, if in a less godly manner (no offense, but I don't really see you getting it to do everything LM does anytime soon). Good luck.
tyty210: That's a tenuous link at best. Sound effects mean effectively nothing in such situations. sirhax0r: Umm... I'm not at all convinced that SMA4 is directly based on any of the previous, especially in a useful manner. Although the features in it were pretty neat. |

Posted by HiryuuBut the Valkyrie items already make it implode. Just look at the male Valkyrie-item-equipped people like BooUrns and tyty210. Then go elsewhere and look at them. Even just going from the topic to the "New reply" page causes them to swap gender. |

I approve of the fact that they showcase Deoxys on the Lylat Cruise level:
Somehow fitting for a Pokemon with such a generic bad science fiction background. EDIT: Wait a second. Does this mean there's no chance of neutral/defense/speed-form Deoxys appearing? Since that was always the most distinctive feature of it... (No I don't count Psycho Boost as distinctive in this context.) This makes 2 legendaries from R/S/E to appear. Kyogre and Rayquaza are plausible to show up soon. |

Posted by Higsby You could always do what the original Mario World did and fill them with rocks... Assuming you still have those graphics. Posted by HigsbyBecause you spent so long staring at it because you made it. Almost everyone has that problem, hence why authors tend to have other people proofread stuff. |

Posted by Ice phoenix Speaking of failing... Let's see... 1. His name is blackhole89. 2. Punctuation marks are followed by spaces.Otherwise it gets hard to read.See? 3. Close your tags. < 4. Stop parroting what everyone else said. 5. Most important: If you feel the thread needs to be locked, PM the mod. Do not post in the thread complaining it hasn't been locked; it wouldn't need to be locked if people could just stop posting in it. Okay, enough backseat moderating from me. Wait, wait. You've posted in this thread THREE TIMES. Each time saying the same thing. What the hell is your problem? |
