Posted by Electrometer Prime Posted by SuperMetroid Posted by Electrometer Prime I can't tell which post was less useful In an attempt to make this post... umm... NOT follow the pot/kettle analogy... The editor's very nice. The TSA editor takes forever to open, though... And when it does, it only seems to show door tiles (I'll assume that's intended for now). Also, you can select a 16x16 to the right of the list, which doesn't seem to do anything particularly different, but is still awkward-looking. |

She faced the screen before occasionally. I think he's just showing the color changes and Luigi sprite. |

Pixelate looks like shit, though. I enjoy emulating stuff to get AWAY from terribly low pixel densities.
I tend towards using "AdvanceMAME Scale2x" on GBA, hq2x on SNES, and (Super?) 2xSAI on Genesis. I prefer not to see the original pixels in most cases, except when ripping sprites. Super Eagle tends to cause problems with small graphics, particularly noticeable on fonts. |

Posted by 1337_Ac3Posted by cpubasic13 I'm not concerned about the fact that the bird died. Animals die all the time. The problem was that he beat the living daylights out of it. There's a difference between something that can feel pain dying fast and... well... this. |

"Hi, I'm Cruel Justice and I don't know what a baker's dozen is."
Is that what you meant? |

Both Yoshi and Captain Falcon have been in since the N64 one. Expecting either one of them to NOT be in this one is a bit... silly. |

Gonna ignore Shadic's little competition here...
Bowser, king of the Koopas, with his traditional air-dodge: I'm loving the new animations on all the characters; I don't even care if it'll never be possible in normal gameplay to make Pikachu look so scared. So far, Bowser appears confirmed to keep his original soft-forward A punch as well as his fire breath (shock) and the same air-dodge animation. His idle animation seems to have a similar snarl, as well. His shell doesn't seem nearly as shiny, sadly enough. (I mean, seriously. If you're just going to put a skeleton post in, why not do it ahead of time?) (Yes, his original post was just "Bowser (picture of Bowser I'm not reposting because it's big)".) |

Posted by NightKevBecause it's only a given date when the whole world agrees it is, damnit. CKY-2K: They'd have to be pretty dumb to put a wrong number of stripes. I mean, seriously. Kattwah: Didn't you hear? The rest got destroyed BY TERRORIST ALIENS. Yes, we shall miss thee Rhode Island, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, West Virginia, New York, Wisconsin, Oregon, Ohio, New Jersey, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Connecticut, Maine, Florida (alright, possibly not so much Florida), Pennsylvania, Delaware, Missouri, and Colorado. (Also: lol@Firefox's spellcheck flagging "Rhode" as wrong, but accepting every other state I put.) |

It's like all the joke hacks rolled into one
I started where a lot of people did: messing with stuff in RAM in Pokemon games. Then I moved on to messing with palettes in Sonic 1 (there's probably still a few copies of that floating around, since I posted it on A51's forums); didn't look bad in my opinion (and I was one of the first few to alter rotating palettes that I know of), but nothing awe-inspiring. I could probably make an IPS and post it, if anyone wants to see. Then I went into messing with Mario World graphics (anyone remember that Dr. Mario tileset I was working on on the first incarnation? ) and pretty much lost interest in doing anything that I intended to ever release. |

That's a scarily badass Final Smash. Although it continues to make it hard to predict what other Final Smashes would be. |

I don't remember what you have to do exactly, but you have to get rid of the ! blocks. Then throw the key, P-switch, and Koopa shell at the Big Boo to kill it. |

NotSo Fatso is a Winamp plugin that plays .NSF (NES sound format) files, which can be either one piece of "music" (since I know a few tracks aren't quite so much music as sound effects) or many from an NES game. |

I have no idea what problem you're having, Celice. Do you have the Japanese language pack installed? Since it's showing as Japanese for me.
(Google's translator does fine on it, by the way. Well, as fine as an automatic translator can be expected to do. "Ogre domesticated fowl and animals king [mario]".) |

Posted by HigsbyIt's worth noting that the hacker also made it so that you can gain height by holding jump when you jump on an enemy. It's easy to forget that that's not in the original SMB, until you play. This looks awesome, but I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. |
