I think the main question is whether you have the file open in multiple things at the same time. I'm pretty sure that's the most likely cause of a write error... The other possibility is that the file is Read-Only, but that's rather implausible. |

Zelda has... darker hair than usual, it seems. Isn't she usually kinda orangey-haired?
Meh, no matter. New characters is a good sign. |

...Assuming he has the bandwidth for it, and a computer whose existence he's willing to dedicate to being a server, and...
I'd say to look through the stuff here and see what you can find. |

...Wha? No matter how well they work or don't, the stuff in it is truly amazing, and tends to be outside of what would be perceived as possible for Mario World.
(Naturally, a lot of it looks just a bit more crappy than it should, but... It's a legitimately fun experience over all. Except for fighting Wily. That just hurts.) It's somewhat disturbing how much of it is lifted from Donkey Kong Country 2, but it still works pretty well. |

Blackhole: That first screenshot... How the hell do you beat that boss once the third head appears? I got past the first two heads no problem, but the third one kept making a countdown appear over Mario's head, causing damage when it hit zero. Do the bob-ombs have something to do with it? |

Problem is, who could you get to compile everything about this place into an encyclopedia? (Hint: Nobody.)
Wikis work better in cases where there is no single individual or small group who can be relied upon to do all that is necessary; minor cases of abuse are trivial in the grand scheme. |

You can pound the ground like in Yoshi's Island there. Just hit him with a shockwave from it (think first phase of the Bowser battle in YI), then eat him with Yoshi while he's stunned. |

HyperHacker: I think most of the important stuff is described by the message boxes... which are, naturally, in Japanese So I just look for buttons, and it served me well for almost everything. |

No new screens today. However...
Ocarina of Time Medley. So much for all Zelda games before TP getting ignored, huh? (I hear Bolero of Fire as the intro, then Song of Storms, then a very short interlude from something that sounds familiar that I can't place, then Epona's Song, then Song of Time, then Saria's Song, ending on Zelda's theme.) Overall, very upbeat and well-fitting for a battle scene. |

Of course you can't, because I'm just that speedy
Completely unfounded hypothesis: This could actually be the music for that castle level that keeps showing up in screenshots. After all, it looks like it belongs to a Zelda game about as well as it looks like it belongs anywhere, particularly since Pit already has a different level associated with him, it appears. Failing that, it could belong to any given Zelda-inspired level. After all, he did say it would be played in-game... And it's way too dramatic for menu music. |

Well, an update is an update... So for all the late-comers who need the URL and a screenshot:
Banana peel! Poor Kirby. (Who else predicts matches with items on Very High, only banana peels? ) |

He's in the level that has "UFO" in the name, it's the one right before castle #6. |

Shadic missed the important part, of course. You can customize control schemes and link them with your name. Which is, in no uncertain terms, rather nifty. |

Super Metroid is only Super Metroid. I have yet to see anything referring to it as "Super Metroid: Metroid 3". In fact, the only time the Metroid 3 title even appeared was in the game's intro.
Not to disparage any work done on this, but I'm not huge on the original few Castlevania games and am unlikely to play. It looks awesome, though. |

Posted by CKY-2KThat's pretty nifty. I'm going to guess that music edits aren't particularly common, right? They sound good (with special note to the underground theme, which is almost unrecognizable from before), and the fireball thing is neat, too. On the other hand... please try to maintain your composure when posting. It's a bit hard to take someone seriously who swears every other word. KP: If you're referring to the fireballs, they're still only one hit per enemy, so how would it affect Bowser any different from before? |
